I actually don't want to see Alfred, for two main reasons. Firstly, Maine Caine is just too brilliant of an actor. I can accept a new Batman, but I'm just not there for a new Alfred. Secondly, Alfred is a wise father figure who give sage advice, but this Batman is in his early forties. It's about time he became the father figure to other younger JL members (maybe Robin, too?) and dispense sage advice himself.

This time for once I would like us to get an Alfred that actually resembles how is typically portrayed in the comics. In terms of physical appearance. Never really been a live action Alfred that resembles comic Alfred at all. With that in mind the idea of Timothy Dalton greatly intrigues me
