The All Things Flash Thread. - Part 2

I’m so excited about this movie. Even if this is the end of the road of this current iteration of DCEU it kind of feels like a parting gift and i cant believe my childhood Batman is returning for the grand finale.

Trailers are selling this as a three hander... and pretty sure all of us Bat-nerds are going to be sad, when at most we'll only get a Hannibal Lecter amount of Batman.

I’ve had mixed feelings on the DCEU overall, but getting Keaton’s Batman out of it has made everything worth it.

At this point, I'm gonna quote stuckman and just say "I'm a fan. Service me".

From everything I've heard I think we'll be satisfied. Affleck's not in it much but Keaton has a full on supporting role, he's in it more than Andrew and Tobey were in NWH from what i gather.

No he isn’t, but every review I’ve read has listed his opening action sequence as a highlight.

I genuinely think Aquaman 2 is gonna get similar reception to WW1984 as sad as that is to say. I actually didn't dislike 1984 tbh.

Momoa in Fast X being the best thing about that movie is gonna add some bonus points for him when Aquaman 2 hits.

Damn thats…terrible. It is what it is though. At this point i just want the movie to be good, this is the dceu’s swansong anyway.

ALL of those movies look like theyre going to underperform though. I feel worst for Indy fans. What an underwhelming note to go out on.

Indy is the final flick. No number matters for the fans really.

For sure, but i dont think any fan of any movie franchise wants to see their franchise go out with a whimper critically or financially even if its the end. But we'll see if fans enjoy the movie more than the critics.

My only concern is enjoying the flick, which I completely expect to do.

Sucks that due to the writers strike we aren’t getting interviews and late night appearances from Michael Keaton

Hopefully the Blu-ray extras for this movie gives us plenty of Keaton though. I’m really interested in all the behind the scenes stuff involved in making this movie

So that's what they look like sober.

It goes to show you can never believe early hype.

Why? Most of the opinions of the film havent changed it just isnt getting enough people to want to come see it. It can still be a good film and not make booku bucks happens all the time.

Not much of the hype said the film would make a bazillion dollars (that was just some people around here) it was just that the people who saw it liked the movie and for the most part that hasnt changed.
