You know this by now but its actually the Manhattan Bridge, which is nearly identical to the George Washington Bridge, where Gwen dies.

Let's say it's true and they are filming Gwen Stacy's death(even though it's not)...why would you ask such a bold question if you don't want to spoil yourself with a given answer?

Here's the thing though, that was just for filming ON the Bridge.

Shots where they are on the bridge are very clearly going to be done on a closed set. They can't do anything on the bridge itself because that would require closing the bridge and thats not going to happen.

But when they are filming off it, like did today, they can film on location.

BTW, the fact they they are filming OFF the bridge lends credence to the theory that they aren't filming what we think they are. Also, they aren't even filming at the "correct" bridge, Yes, the bridge they are filming at is nearly identical, but its still a different bridge.

Well it doesn't necessarily have to be massive, they can do a small chunk and CGI the rest of it.

Incorrect.

In the original text of the issue where she died, it said that she died on the George Washington Bridge. However, the artwork depicted the Brooklyn Bridge.

Some later reprints showed this fixed this and had the bridge identified as the Brooklyn Bridge but its still up to ones interpretation over what bridge it really should be.

However, all of this is irrelevant because they filmed at the Manhattan Bridge.
