You guys do realize though that no matter how acclaimed and successful this franchise is, it probably always live in the shadow of Raimi's franchise considering it was "first" and how impactful it was? Like Man of Steel, no matter how acclaimed and successful it'll be, Reeve's Superman (1&2) will always be ranked higher.

That's not true. TAS-M just isn't that great of a film, imo, to be better than Raimi's first two films. If the sequel ends up being a really great film, it will be praised and will be whatever place it gets, either above Raimi's films, or just equal to Spider-Man 2, etc.

And with Man of Steel, we shall see. I think it will surpass Superman: The Movie for sure, but it will be a test to see if people like it more than Superman II.

No one will say Burton's trilogy, lol. But TDK trilogy is definitely better than Burton's duology.

If Human Torch is black, then doesn't Invisible Woman have to be black since they are siblings.

One of them could be adopted. They could be half-brother, half-sister. Wouldn't be a far reach if Johnny Storm ends up being African-American or vice versa with Sue Storm.

I agree. I have no problem with the R.H.I.N.O. mech suit idea, I actually prefer it.
But it they go down that route, I hope they at least design a suit that resembles the R.H.I.N.O. from the ultimates, or at least resemble a/the Rhino.
That means more of an enclosed body suit, rather than those photos posted.

Yeah. I would imagine the whole torso would be closed, but the face would be open.

Still, an easy explanation for the Rhino being who he is and how he got the suit is that he is a heavy-lifter suit operator at a factory or something, who is fed up. It is funny, quick, and lest us have fun with his powers.

Why do the thugs just get yanked outta the truck and pulled by black wire by the cops? Do you think that's Spidey's doing? I know it's kinda captain obvious but part of me thinks it might not be Spidey.

It would? I thought it was a fun idea, a way to bring a ridiculous looking character into the universe, and making him fun and believable. He is a short, funny looking guy, Giamatti, in a giant armored exo skeleton, having a breakdown and foaming at the mouth about his employer or something. Spidey swoops in, and dodges a couple swings, wise cracking the whole way though, out smarts Rhino, and saves the day.

It is more than likely Spidey doing that. The cops are just pulling the stunt guys down because they need to get of that wire safely obviously. That isn't part of the scene, only them being pulled out of the truck will be.

Lol. I don't know. I guess it is just how I think. It would be fun to see P.G. in the traditional Rhino suit too, but I don't know how well that would go over. I really want this movie to be good, and DO good. I loved the first one, I don't want Sony to axe Webb and find a patsy.
