I know it's far fetched, but is it at all possible that they are filming scenes for the third installment? The Hobbit style? (The Hobbit was originally intended to be 2 films and not 3)

I have a funny feeling about that to but then if that was true that would also have get Shaileen back so I don't think so .

Anything is possible. It's not beyond Sony to do that.

On different occasions, they planned for SM3 and SM4 to film back to back, and then later for SM4 and SM5 to film back to back.

Actually, no it hasn't. Some set pics of a car crash sequence (filmed all day Sunday) hit on Monday. Its just that all of the big news sites missed it due to the E3 press conferences going on the same day.

I figure, if this is the case, they are filming Emma's scenes with Peter and/or Goblin. So they don't have to bring her back for an entire third movie. And then they'll do the rest of the film in the next couple years.

Hm. They MIGHT be doing that. The only reason why I would think so is because Andrew is almost 30 and they might wanna utilize what he looks like now. Idk at the same time I mostly doubt it. I think they're purely shooting TASM2 right now.

One thing I keep wondering about is how big will Rhino's role be in TASM2? We know that Electro will be a big part of the movie since he is the main villain, but how about Rhino?

I think he could be introduced with the car chase sequence, sent to Ravencroft, then at some point dons the Rhino suit, fights Spidey once or twice, and then sent back to Ravencroft? Anyone got any ideas?

For some reason I feel like he has a small part. He's not mentioned in the synopsis directly at all. And I know it feels like they've shot a lot with him, but honestly we've only seen the whole chase scene (with Spidey and Aleksei's underwear), and that confrontation with Aleksei in the suit. I know there may have been stuff indoors, but what if that's it?

Wouldn't that be better if he had a really small role to leave room for Electro? In my opinion I think it's ideal.
