I simply can't understand that. I think that ELECTRO-NIC music fits perfectly the ELECTRO character.
Agreed. I'm not someone who normally listens to dubstep/electronic music, but I think it fits very well with this movie, especially in the context of the times square sequence with Electro.

I don't listen to much of that music either, but when I'm watching any movie, my mind just slips and opens into what the movie gives me, thus making me not at all mind the electronic music.

I guess people hate for the sake of hating. I am 100% positive that a lot of mouths will be shut when the movie is released.

With a villain like electro, I think electronic music makes the most sense.

Thanks for this post buddy. :hrt::hrt::hrt:

No problemo;)

Teekay, i feel like you are the only one right now that can spell three words and calm the whole board.

We kneel before you.

People talk about Dane Dehaan's performance a lot (which seems justified, to say the least)...

...but wow, Jaimie Foxx needs more attention for his acting from what I've seen so far. His delivery, his voice, his facial expressions etc. is perfect!

I took notice of it.

"I don't want them shooting at me anymore.." He seems so hyper sensitive it kinda made me sad. And I feel like this real small thing like when Spider-Man tells him to watch his step for the electro out and his jerk reaction...all that. I was real impressed.

The guy's very watchable, I just hope he turns nastier and more vengeful later on. I've about had it with villains that we're supposed to feel sorry for. The best villains are scary and hateful.

You realize that Dubstep isn't the only type of electronic music there is though right? Its in fact the most oversaturated form of it right now. Its a fad, almost a borderline cliche.

I can use the same argument against you, how are you so sure that it won't make sense? It's futile to argue about this. Wait until we see the movie and if you still have a problem, then you can complain all you want

Because chances are they aren't going to go in depth as to explaining as to why that is.

Peter does sound kind of funny. He sounds like the guy who did the bad lip reading of him for the first ASM hahaha. Has anyone watched that? It's pretty funny. Anyways, accents can slip sometimes. Like Fassbender at the end of the final action scene in First Class.

Edit: I just listened again. It just sounds like Peter's a little pissed when he says that one line. Not as off as first thought. One thing is for sure: we over analyze things haha. Waiting for this movie to come out is driving us all crazy... :oldrazz:

I really hope this movie turns out good, although I have a feeling that in terms of reception it could be polarizing in general terms. I think it'll either stand toe to toe, or close to the high of that of SM2, or it'll fall below even Spider-Man 3 in terms of reception. I don't see the reception merely being lukewarm like TASM in this case considering how bombastic this movie appears to be, on almost every front.

There's no way this movie will be anywhere close to Spider-Man 3 in terms of quality or reception. That movie is truly horrible. Not Green Lantern bad, but close. Seriously.

It's pretty tempting knowing how a bootleg will inevitably come up before May 2nd. :oldrazz:

Especially with Mexico´s security see one day after school i went see the Lego movie and anyone asked me to leave my large backpack(which contained my laptop),lol

So...the they thought you would bootleg?

Hope it comes out on my birthday.

It's gonna be very tempting. As for the quality, who knows how it will be? There are some good bootlegs, and there are some bad bootlegs.

I know y'all will be tempted to check one out too. :oldrazz:

Dubstep is something that just about everything has dipped into at one in point or another though. It's something is almost universally looked down upon, and is rarely ever looked to as something positive, because as I said it's looked at as the dumbed down version of electronica. The mainstream pop version.

Most comments I've seen that have to do with that clip point out that particular moment as the pitfall of the entire clip. It just feels so forced, just adding a solid bass behind the electro bolt sizzle would have been good, but the dubstep element just makes it seem lame and flaccid.

It's something that could also age the movie pretty badly if it's utilized heavily enough.

It has, literally, millions of fans. So it's seen as a positive more than 'rarely.' Many popular forms of music were treated with the same mainstream criticism as you're applying. But they eventually became accepted genres. Including punk rock and thrash metal. So your hyperbolic statements are irrelevant.
