You keep focusing on the conventions and cosplayers like it's a relevant point because you don't actually have one. The idea that buying a Spider-Man costume, in a world where there's a real guy running around like that on the news every day, would somehow automatically make a person jump to the immediate conclusion that you or someone you know must be Spider-Man? That makes sense to you? That there is really no other logical explanation like "Hey someone's going to a costume party?" You think it's a reasonable deduction that every time someone buys a red nose and clown shoes that they must be Bozo?
Pure contrariness, like I said. Because the alternative is that you really are as dim as you sometimes come across, and I don't believe that to be the case. So do yourself and everyone else a favor and stop trolling all the damn time. It's freaking tedious and makes you look bad.
