I would assume said tailor would ask some questions.

You'd be wrong. Are you really incapable of realizing how ****ing stupid and contrived that scenario is? It's like a bad cover from Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen. I hope you're not planning on a writing career when you grow up because holy ****.

You keep focusing on the conventions and cosplayers like it's a relevant point because you don't actually have one. The idea that buying a Spider-Man costume, in a world where there's a real guy running around like that on the news every day, would somehow automatically make a person jump to the immediate conclusion that you or someone you know must be Spider-Man? That makes sense to you? That there is really no other logical explanation like "Hey someone's going to a costume party?" You think it's a reasonable deduction that every time someone buys a red nose and clown shoes that they must be Bozo?

Pure contrariness, like I said. Because the alternative is that you really are as dim as you sometimes come across, and I don't believe that to be the case. So do yourself and everyone else a favor and stop trolling all the damn time. It's freaking tedious and makes you look bad.

I'm guessing a festival/carnival at cony island?

Kind of like in TSSM? I'm not from the USA but i assume cony island regularly holds those kind of events?

And yeah i agree, they are likely gonna be part of the same scene as the contortionists. be cool to get a mysterio easter egg; you could see an ad for him in a stall in the background, full costume and everything.

ps.

wesman literally just called a handful of people on here ****ing morons. so.. may want to tell a mod.

i would love it if he got banned and wasn't indeed a troll, just not a very pleasant person. i think he would take not being able to post on here rather poorly, which would be pretty great comeuppance lol.

Having a mentally terrible day, anything could set me off and saying that, this stupid costume discussion...needs to stop. It's literally the embodiment of a fanboy discussion. Get a grip...

It's a totally stupid discussion, I'll give you that - so stupid that no one should have to be corrected concerning it...and yet someone did need to be corrected. But hey, at least some cool Spidey pictures were posted on either side. Don't be so moody. There's enough of that here as it is.

Also...coming onto a comic book movie message board and complaining about "fanboy discussions" is....well....like coming onto a comic book movie message board and complaining about fanboy discussions. That does not make sense.

My first guest about the mimes thing would just be as background color for a scene in Central Park or something. Maybe some crooks robbing a bank?

I gotta say...I'm kinda with Anno on this one. At the very least, I see his point, and even if I didn't I'd find your post unnecessarily hostile.

You're point about some one spazzing out over the purchase of a clown costume doesn't really work, as clowns are an everyday, common thing, where as Spider-Man is not.

It really isn't that far fetched for someone to be suspicious when if Peter or Gwen came in asking for them to tailor a Spider-Man suit, because Spider-Man is NOT the "clown" or film character, or what have you that no one would bat an eye about. Sure, Peter or Gwen could brush it off as a costume for a party or whatever, but why in the blue hell would they risk something like that? ESPECIALLY when the tailor could see THEIR new costume being used by Spider-Man in the news as soon as it was picked up.

Yeah man, you told me!

You have two weeks probation. If you do not think you can post civilly and non immaturely....don't bother coming back.

****ATTENTION EVERYONE****

Do not call other people names if you disagree with a post of theirs.

even if I didn't I'd find your post unnecessarily hostile.

But your pal Anno has been the picture of civility. Calling me a moron wasn't hostile? Riiiight.

Anyway you seem to think that I'm pushing for Gwen to buy the costume. News flash! I don't care how he gets it, I don't even care if they explain it or not. All I did was offer up an alternative to Gwen sewing the thing herself. But if ya'll want to insist on making a huge deal out of it, feel free. I'm done with it.

Probably Gwen tailors it herself
She's a girl, she can do stuff like that

Thank you

Quite frankly, I'm done with the topic anyways, but thanks for backing me up on this one; I appreciate it.

Your hostile attitude towards me reaches farther back than this topic alone, and that is why I called you such a name now because you continue to focus on my posts like I'm just smoking crack and coming up with these stupid scenarios that aren't even stupid if you take some time to actually think it through. I apologize for calling you moron, but you should apologize for the way you've been acting towards me during this topic and the ones beforehand.

Probably Gwen tailors it herself

Maybe a random Mime in Time Square during the battle they're gonna film.
Are we sure there's going to be a Times Square Battle simply based on a one day shoot and a Times Square model. Aren't you all setting yourselves up if it's just a simple scene that doesn't include a fight scene? :o

Well, they're building an entire set for it.

It may or may not be a battle for it.

*****ing morons keep saying "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN AND ULTIMATE COSTUMES ARE THE SAME COSTUME BY A DIFFERENT ARTIST DERPHERPDERP." No they're not...the Ultimate costume has bigger lenses and different shades of red and blue.
