I'm starting to think it's a new pic b/c William had short hair in TASM1 (unless this was taken prior to TASM1 but I doubt it) and checking out his recent pics on Facebook, it's about the same length as it is here. (He does post some older pics w/ his shorter hair but his hair in his January pics matches this)

It would be soooooo awesome if we saw a transition from the old suit to the new!

ah, nice. that's one less thing people will moan about if they show and explain the transition to the new suit.

also, makes my idea about the opening picking off right where tasm1 ended more viable. though i still doubt it will happen.

maybe the suit gets destroyed somehow.

I did ask him how the new suit was compared to the old one. He said equally ******, haha. Prefaced everything by saying "I wouldn't tell anyone else this, but I'll tell you because I know you'll be interested" ... then went on to say how extreme temperatures get in the suit, how the mask hurts his jaw, how the glasses fog up and he can't see ****. And then he told me he'd pass it on to me so I could try it on. Then I fainted.

We're gonna get beers the next time we see each other. Maybe I'll dig a little deeper then.

I just have one question for you to ask him next time you see him, unless it's already passed by then (or unless we know it already, but I have no clue): I just want to know when they hell they'll be filming in Rochester because I live about an hour away from there and would really love to check it out.

William Spencer (stunt double for TASM and this film) posted this picture today, though it may be from TASM. The only reason it wouldn't be is if they start with the old suit and then introduce the new suit.

I dont think we saw that location in TASM

I am betting its from this movie

yeah i agree. but he will likely be doubling for peter parker, not just spider-man.

btw he posted this on the 12; look at his hair. there is no way it has grown that much in a week lol. so either this photo of him in the suit is old, or this one is:

notice that his hair is the same length as garfield's in this one? also he is in new york, which is where tasm2 is filming.

hes posted pics of him in the tasm1 suit late last yr, which were taken at the time promo stuff was happening for it (so months prior).

personally i think he has a backlog of spidey photos and just posts them when he feels like it.

I'm starting to think it might be true, considering almost every actor has said that lol especially since no one really mentioned the script for TASM. It could be Sony telling them to say this, but then there is that interview with Dehaan for that one movie he's in that has no association with Sony and he still mentioned the script when he was asked about TASM2, he could have just said he was excited to be a part of it. I hope they aren't BSing us lol

Each and every actor has mentioned how great the script is,and I remember RIM mentioning that Webb had interesting plans with the script and Norman Osborn character in a press conference

And nobody mentioned the script during the production of TASM,this makes me think the script is indeed good

And thats great because the 4 Spider-man movies had relatively simple scripts and it was the scintilating action which kept things top notch

The cast is great,If we have a script with twists(TDKesque) and Marc improves upon the set pieces,this movie could be a perfect 10

^^ My guess would be that it's an old photo from that day when they were at the Empire State Building. He did claim that was him in the suit in those photos. William always posts things out of order.
Although he IS doing stunts for the sequel.
