Well there you go.If Spider-Man 3, which sold 7 million units didn't get a DC. I don't see why TASM2 at 2 million units would.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. It felt like they threw almost all of Peter's complexity in favour of appeasing the fans who whined about it being different to the Raimi series. In the first movie it felt like Andrew was playing Peter Parker, whereas in the second movie he just felt like Andrew Garfield to me.
I really wish that Webb had stuck to his original vision for his Spider-man rather than bending to all the people who's main gripe with the movie was "rebooting too fast" or completely inaccurate Nolan comparisons.
Oh right on the subway. Yeah that was... interesting. The part where Peter grabbed a woman's shirt and accidentally ripped it off with his ability to stick onto things.... We probably could've had better scenes than that.
Well... which is it? I don't even think most of the critics thought it was that bad, it got pretty mixed reviews overall. And nearly as bad as Batman & Robin.
...
I don't hate it as much as major critics do

Nope and nope, I've been waiting and waiting to hear something from either of them, but nothing.Has Marc or Andrew released any kind of statement yet? I wonder if somebody got a soundbite from Emma Stone at the Oscars.

For Emma, she has plenty of other films to worry about besides Spidey. I am curious how Andrew feels though, Marc might be able to go back to do something with Fox perhaps.
Agreed with everything in this post.I believe marc really has some great ideas for this series. i mean from the looks at the behind the scenes, deleted scenes, interviews, and featurettes he seemed to have a greater grasp on the character in most areas. i beieve he would've had another shot by himself to prove that he's not a bad director as everyone else says and andrew for not being a "hispter emo" as people accuse him of being. but as of right now that is not going to happen thanks to sony. i for one would hope they release a directors cut of this series because there are alot of things that would've made it more of a quality film staying close to the mythos.
That you, Spider-Knight. What's up?
It would be cool if Marc Webb answered some fan questions about what was supposed to happen next in the series.
l would just like to hear if Peter was ever going to find his Uncle's killer or if Norman was supposed to turn into the Goblin. I guess it doesn't matter anymore anyway.I wouldn't be surprised if they ever even got as far as a concrete plan for what was supposed to happen next.
