Really didn't WANT to contribute to this thread being so far off topic but couldn't help myself lol. Batman Begins, at least to me, is a much better film than spider-man 3. I don't even see it being in the same league. Thus, he'd be 2/2 so far with dope flicks and if he gets a good or great third one, which I can't say until I see it on Friday, then he'd have the first great or at least good comic book flick TRILOGY. Spider-man 1 and 2 are good but 3 is the eyesore. Superman had his wack 3rd one, batman forever was meh at best, to me, and I'm not a fan of x-men 3. Even if the critics overall land it in the 80s on Rotten Tomatoes, that doesn't mean it's bad by any means, hell even if it's high 70s. And I agree with Jexx, I'm a much bigger fan of batman begins than the first spider-man flick but again, personal taste

Err.. Anno, responding in pretty much the same way to Spiderdevil (although much more subtle), isn't a very good way to make your point. Well, actually, it can be, but it makes you come off as rude.

TASM and TDKR are both very good movies. I think TDKR will stay in the 80's range, and I think that's where TASM should be. But you know that TASM had more going against it than TDKR does.

This goes back to when I said TAS-M RT score would be lower and Spiderdevil is only bringing up the same shtick with TDKR. If anyone is rude, it would be him/her.

Whatever the reason,they should have looked into the matter.

It was better,the action alone blows BB out of the water
And BB was of no comparison to SM1 and SM2 which is why I say Nolan Bat trilogy is at the same level as Riami's.But it has a better conclusion

If you're trying to even compare the action between Nolan's films and Raimi's films, then one would say Raimi's was better, but action was never going to be such a major factor with BB or TDK; the story was and that exceeds Raimi's first two films. Plus, I should remind you...TDK topped S-M 2 in the "Best Superhero Film Ever Made" area

We can't use revenue a movie makes to justify it being good on one hand but then when other movies we knock it down. Anno is right, the three transformers movies have made infinitely more money than the godfather trilogy but that doesn't mean it's better.

Fair enough but my point is, quality doesn't always equal revenue. Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, Brittany Spears and a lot of other artists of that ilk have sold more records than artists of a higher caliber. Nelly's first album sold more than Nas' first album, but no one in their right mind would tell you Nelly is the better rapper. This is why arguments like this are pointless because quality is subjective, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

TBH thats the main complaint about TASM from the general audience,they say it takes too long to get into Battle

Cant point out what it lacked exactly but it didnt feel like a CBM
