:huh::huh: Which stores?!

I think it's at all Wal-Marts.

For $2.99 you get a reproduction of the first Spidey Vs Lizard comic, and a DVD with some info about the movie.

Yeah, it has a brand new scene on the dvd and some behind the scenes footage.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment plans to debut a new scene from its upcoming action adventure "The Amazing Spider-Man" not on the internet, but rather on television screens in physical Walmart stores across the country.

At four designated times of the day -- 12:01am, 10am, 3pm and 8pm -- on June 15 and 16, all of the electronics department television sets in Walmart's 3,600 US stores will play a previously unreleased scene from the theatrical film.

To encourage in-store viewing, Sony does not plan to release the footage online.

Sony and Walmart's promotional efforts are designed to generate excitement for both "The Amazing Spider-Man," director Marc Webb's take on the famed Marvel Comics superhero, as well as the over a thousand "Spider-Man" licensed products being sold at Walmart.

Webb's film comes only five years after the final installment of director Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" reboot and features "The Social Network" star Andrew Garfield as the titular web-slinger.

In addition to the in-store footage, Walmart, Sony and Marvel Entertainment said Thursday the three companies were partnering on a number of other interactive events, such as the introduction of a new "Web-Slinger" app for mobile devices.

"We know our customers are huge fans of 'Spider-Man' and we wanted to give them access to the film in a new way," said Brent Duwe, Walmart's director of entertainment property merchandise. "We really wanted to engage the fans."

There's a bunch of walmart/spidey stuff on their site:

There was stuff in Sunday's paper about it, and there are signs up at Wal-Mart. I figured more people in here already knew about it.

That website says in-store only. I guess not. I would of gotten that. The scene they are showing is on that disc right?

hey if any of you catches the Wall-mart footage...can you give us the description?
thanks

Very awesome shot. Looks like it was taken directly from a comic page. They've certainly nailed several iconic poses.

I swear all the artwork and pictures related to Amazing Spiderman released on these forums are just brilliant

My god,the colours are just brilliant

Although I was previously didnt like it,but it was an excellent decision to put most of the scenes at night

It makes more sense for most of the scenes to be at night. Peter goes to high school by day, fights crime at night.
