Great minds think alike. I saw the pic and was going to post that. I wonder if Garfield is even aware of Kenny Everret and the sketch.

Also, Everett helped Queen get their big break. He played Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio as part of his DJ'ing job.

Though I can't find it, I would have also linked to the sketch with Billy Connolly at Kenny's door. It's just brilliant.

That particular run of TA is the crappy "Avengers: Assemble" book that was made solely to bring familiarity with the comics and the movie. It's pretty awful.

It turns out some producer or somebody just gave him those comics to read since Andrew likes comics. That's all it was last I heard.

Because without the context of that explanation (which came later than the photo), it fuelled speculation that Garfield was boning up on Avengers comics for possible 'research'. I can't say I can blame some for wondering if that was the case since it seems Sony and Marvel were willing to have Oscorp appear in the Avengers (but couldn't make it happen) and that Andrew has apparently expressed interest in being in an Avengers sequel.

That all just sounds like friendly movie star banter to me. I do like that Andrew's a comic book geek, but Avengers Assemble is such a boring book. Daredevil I think has my vote for the best written Marvel book right now. Such a good run.

Personally, I would love to see Spider-Man in the Avengers' sequel, but I'm not sure if Sony would be willing to share the movie rights with Marvel, even though technically the rights belong to Marvel.
