RIM's review is on the 14th? O crap. That's excellent. Less than a week till I see the film. I'll even do a symbiote dance on the way to get my popcorn.

Still, it has to be taken into account, I hate it when I read on other forums "Do I give a **** about a tweet review from some guy I dont even know?!", because it pretty much says that since those people are not necessarily film critics, then their opinion is worthless.

It can be true in some cases because some might not have a clue about movies in general, but still.

There opinions are just as worthy as an 80 year old movie critic, but I'm just saying. We are gonna have people on the 14th, 18th, 19th, and 20th tell us stuff about the movie.

I'm still not sure I want to go, which sounds strange even to me. I was looking forward to watching it on IMAX for the first time. The premier I'm going to isn't on that format, although it is 3D. I will go, obviously, but I hope it doesn't take the spark out of going on the 6th with my friends.

Why are they making another spider-man movie? Hollywood needs new ideas and to stop making the same series over and over with new actors.

I hate the "Hollywood is running out of ideas" comment that is made for just about any sequel, prequel, remake, reboot these days. Go to Hollywood and make your own ****ing movie.

Just saw the new scene and I don't get the hate. Yeah it's over the top but it's meant to be. This movie embraces the fact that a big part of Spider-Man (and superheroes in general) is wish-fulfillment. As a kid there were many times I dreamt of getting Spideys powers and how I'd own everyone in sports (I was horrendously bad). This movie is just embracing a bit of that and dishing out some fanboy love. SM1 did just that with the over the top Peter/Flash fight. Except this time, Peter is actually being a show off until he realized he went too far by breaking the board. That sounds like Peter pre-Ben's death to me.

I don't really have a problem with an over the top dunk. I hated the ridiculously fake backflip Peter did in the Flash figh in SM1 but that hardly affected the quality of the movie. I hated the "you wanna get Spidey, you have to get through us" scene in SM2 but I loved the movie :/

Either way, it's a fun little scene and just sit back and relax. Stop trying to analyze even that. People are splitting hairs over everything here.

For the Lizard at least we got a Sewer Battle, School Battle, Bridge Battle, and the Oscorp Tower Battle. That a nice amount of fights. We also get Spidey going against criminals and the police; very nice action.

Yup, Lizzie's going to have a lot of screen time. I've also come to the conclusion that Lizard purposefully goes after Pete at his high school, seeing as he discovers Pete's identity (We see Lizard holding Peter's camera in the sewer, as well as talking to him while transforming in his lab), and also

the behind the scenes footage shows Lizard's mo-cap actor attacking Peter in plainclothes.
