Like you are one to talk. I could say the same to you about Shattered Dimensions.
^Very true Nathan
Yeah yeah, that's right, the game where you repeat the same few moves 500 (even if all four characters have differences) times and almost nothing else is a fine Spider-Man game, very trueCosign on that!

Well, if they couldn't simply break out of it, all players would be doing is shoot their webs, end the fights in seconds and get bored. I admit that it's stupid, but from a gaming point it would make fights way too easy.
Yeah, it's the dodging of webs that pissed me off in SM2.
Or dodge and counterMe too. That made combat so repetitive by the time you complete the story mode as you had to spam Impact Web constantly before you could do anything to thugs.
Or dodge and counter
Which still wasn't all that fun. I don't wanna have to do a web shot or a counter too even be able to hit a purse snatcher. It's lame. I don't care if Spidey's a little overpowered, he should be. Make him more vulnerable to guns instead.

As iv said before, Batmans free flow combat would be perfect for Spidey. It could even be better due to spideys unnatural agility and speed.
They evade too much, that's sad, so I agree with you hereWhich still wasn't all that fun.

combination, annoying in something is bleh but a bit annoying in something else is alrightOr as Nathan said, mix of this and USM attack style. He also agrees with me about taking some of the best stuff in combat from several games and said it openly hereAs iv said before, Batmans free flow combat would be perfect for Spidey. I like it, it's smooth and good, wall bounce attacks are awesome. If they upgraded that to make Spidey bounce between several thugs and be able to web tie them in that move with steady camera, magnificentThey've already done that before with the fighting mechanics in Ultimate Spider-Man, and it wasn't very good.
Plus reflexes, they work for things other than fightingI like to have more control over Spidey's movements than just one attack button that does all the fighting for you.
I still wish they mixed the best of Harry's from SM3 fight with Vultures fight in WoS, web zip attack to be one (but not too often needed to be used), taking the fight almost everywhere in the city you can enter in free roam, and being able to swing a webline to him like in the cartoons and comicsI want control over how to web people and what I get to do with them once they're tied up or on the end of my webline, like in SM2. SM2's fighting system was actually really well done once you got good at it. WoS had pretty much the best fighting system of any Spidey game.

I.
At least it's better in giving more use of Spider-Man's fist to fist and bouncing skills on the groundNo, the free flow was much better in Arkham City than it was in USM, it could be easily transferred and tweaked to apply to Spidey. USMs combat was light years better than WoS any way.
I mentioned this over in the Spidey boards, but I want to see Spot as a villain this game. He'd have an awesome boss fight.
Tbh, I agree. I would also like to see the Chameleon and The Enforcers.I mentioned this over in the Spidey boards, but I want to see Spot as a villain this game. He'd have an awesome boss fight.
Free flow is definitely the way to go for Spidey. Just combine USM's combat with Arkham City's and call it a day.
Yep, i agree. It really would be the best system for him.
I really dont know why they wouldn't. I mean if i was a dev thats what i would do and if asked about the similarities between this and AC, id say exactly, thats where we got it from. Its a great system there and works beautifully here.
Just say it's his style of fighting in comics, freeflow acrobatic and bouncingYep, i agree. It really would be the best system for him.

And you might get your ass sued into oblivion.
