Really? Is this another Avengers type deal where us Europeans get stiffed with no 2nd after credits scene?

As for GofG, I wouldn't mind if they were in TA2 because if they were, I'd see their appearance as being late in the movie, thus I don't really have any fears of over saturation. I think it'd be pretty nice if they turn up just in the nick of time to turn the tide against Thanos.

Wanda started off affecting probability but she's more or less a reality warper now. Also, she knows a couple of spells such as combustion. The spells part would be a bit tricky but it can pretty much be handled the same as Loki was handled.

Looks like those Masters of Evil rumors were true.

Glad they are saving Thanos for A3. I feel like they would've written themselves into a corner having him so early. He's the biggest bad in all of the Marvel Universe. Would've been a bit silly to bring him in the second go around.

Having someone else in A3 would've made, what is probably the big ending to the MCU before a "reboot" of sorts, feel a little anti-climatic. That is if they didn't do Civil War or WWH in A3, but why cram those in now when they could use those for potential future phases?

The three names most commonly being tossed around (based on no rumors or facts whatsoever; just us spitballing) over in the Thread Next Door are Olga Kurylenko, Emily Blunt, and Mila Kunis.

Personally, I hope they go with Eastern European actors instead of Americans, Brits or Aussies for a change. Olga K is at the top of my list, but I'd be more than happy to see Mila. Emily, not so much.

I've heard Tom Felton for Pietro. Probably not the best or the worst choice out there.

For a while now, there has been rumors that there is a 2nd IM3 after credits scene and in that scene

Tony receives a transmission from space. The transmission is from Star-Lord who is requesting help and is clearly in trouble. Tony then builds a new Deep Space armor (apparently using Vibranium sent to him by an envoy in Wakanda) and flies out in space in search of The Guardians.

I think it's perfectly fine to not use the Guardians in A2. For one thing, not every solo movie character has to show up in the next Avengers. Dr. Strange, for instance, is something I see as standing alone. Same for the Guardians. It's great that they introduce something that's going to be used in A2, but their presence isn't needed in a movie that's already crowded as all get out.

Agreed. That also goes double for MoE. You'd have to cut the Avengers already limited screentime in half to even begin to make MoE more than cardboard cut outs.

It doesn't make sense for them to withhold a plot related reveal like that from 95% of the world, first of all. This wouldn't be like the Shrawma scene. Second, Marvel should have already sent out the film reels to movie theaters, if there were an extra mid-credits scene we would have heard of it by now.

I think they could reference the guardians in A2 and it would be fine. They don't need too be the red headed stepchild that no one talks about. A scene or two with them would be fine or even a after credits scene with them.

Personally, I think the Blood Brothers may've been more along the lines of what Whedon was suggesting rather than a full-fledged Masters of Evil.

I'd imagine that Thanos will have henchmen of some sort. Which could be these guys or even the Controller as some rumors have suggested.

Some online rumors turn out to be true, however. A source confirms to EW that the twin characters Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be joining The Avengers 2, which Whedon hinted at recently when he said he was writing a brother-sister duo into the movie. Feige maintains a poker face on that scoop, saying only: “I’m not confirming or denying. The draft could change six months from now.”

I think QS/SW are for sure, since Whedon said they were "locked in". Falcon may show up. Wouldn't think there would be many new heroes beyond that

I wasn't talking specifically about El Mayimbe's recent BP scoop. There's also the whole Morris Chesnut Twitter thing, as well as the fact that I think they'd want to add some diversity to the roster.

None of them are making it in. I doubt Wanda and Pietro will be protagonists until maybe the third act and won't technically "join" the Avengers until the very end. Don't see Black Panther actually being a major character in it if he makes it in at all, more like cameo or out-of-suit stuff...again, if he even makes it in. And Ant-Man/Wasp will be getting introduced in a movie six months later, don't know why they would step on the characters' origins just 6 months before they're set for their own movie anyway.

I meant in the film period. they don't have to actually be on the team throughout the film to simply be included.
