Given that its Fox and Singer's directing track record has been sub-mediocre starting with Superman Returns, there's a very good chance this movie isn't going to be very good. I hope that's not the case, but im not foolish enough to assume DOFP is going to work out. Glad the MCU is a completely separate world.

Someone brought up the incredibly META idea of QS and SW "escaping" via a wormhole at the end of DOFP from the Fox U and then reappearing in the MCU in TA2 from the same wormhole. Cool right? Hmm maybe not...

edit: so yeah, shared (but never mentioned) multiverse.

I'm guessing it was. Still tho, Like we've been mentioning Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were Avengers long before appearing in any X-Book so technically Singer and Fox used the characters without permision

They debuted in X-Men.

They did, but were basically there for a cup of coffee.Scarlet Witch has stayed away from X-men for decades until House of M.Quicksilver you can make more of an argument for.

I don't want Fox's X-Men universe anywhere near the MCU until Fox cleans up all the continuity mess and/or reboots.

Scarlet Witch is all Avenger, not really regarded as an X-Man regardless of debut and past appeareances. Quicksilver is though and I like him as an X-Man.

I seriously doubt the Fox X-men universe will ever blend into MCU. I simply don't see the studios cooperating. I wouldn't want them to either. MCU continunity has pretty tight so far, while X-men...hasn't to put it lightly.

.... i.e. the numbers would be too outrageous to even fathom the possbility.

I don't recall them ever having secret identities in the comics (although I'm not familiar with all of their appearances). They never wore masks. All the other heroes seemed to know who they were.

Yeah they don't really need them. But obviously, since it's a superhero movie, you would like for them to have their superhero names.
