I can't wait to see how much money this movie makes. I see another record breaking movie coming our way. It will undoubtedly surpass the 1.5 billion (especially since Foreign box office has grown a lot these last few years). I don't think it will topple Avatar, but it will come close.

Anything over 200M is a win in my books, let's not get greedy.

If you don't like crowded theaters, I would avoid going to them May 1-3. When the first Avengers came out my local AMC was jammed pack opening night. Like there were like four or five auditoriums showing the movie. I over heard an older couple complaining to a manager in the lobby about the number of people and didn't understand the hype for Avengers ha. They were pissed because another movie they wanted to see didnt have any more screenings that night due to Avengers ha.

I've found Friday morning shows aren't so jammed. Most people aren't insane like I am and don't take a day off work to go see a movie like I do. Also, most people don't pull their kids out of school so they can see it (I won't do that either). The fact that it's in 3D also keeps the premium theater (which is where I go) attendance down because some people just won't go see anything in 3D and buy tickets for the 2D showing.

I'm not saying Friday morning shows are empty because you're always going to get the weirdos like me and people who don't have day jobs or aren't in school showing up, but there's never (so far) been lines or a sold out show or anything like that.

I guess I'm going to go to the Cinemark XD because I can't seem to find out whether or not the print has been remastered for IMAX. If I knew it was, I'd definitely go see it in true IMAX.

I say $222 million opening weekend.

Honestly? Who cares? It is going to make a crap-ton of $$$ opening weekend, for the month, overall, over seas...it is what I want to see, they made it, they are making sequels and spin-offs...

Yea that's true. I prefer going to the movies in the evenings around 7:30pm or later. Seeing movies like this with a packed crowd and hardcore fans just adds to the experience.

I don't care how much exactly the movie makes, but there is no harm in discussing it.

To be fair, there is a 'Box Office Prediction' thread. I suggest anyone interested in numbers etc. should go there to discuss that stuff.

Has anyone tweeted anything about what time they'll be seeing the movie today?

This is what I was wondering. Were going to be reviews today?

Reviews are 21st, twitter buzz today/tomorrow. Though I do remind people yet again early twitter buzz is nearly always great.

Also I called the reviews being around 21st ages ago, for Marvel they are consistently (recently anyway) 2-3 days before it gets released Internationally. They must have done some research about how it effects certain countries more.

Surprised they gave him a poster. Looks fantastic

Think they could've toned down the Phil Coulson hairline for Vision
but other than that, he really does look amazing
