I have DirecTV...IW is only available to buy for $21.99...does anyone know why they don't have it to rent?

Digital releases come out sooner that physical releases and are only available to buy until the blu ray releases, then they go up for rent.

Oh ok...thank you so much for that...I never knew that...well I had already pre-ordered the Thanos steelbook cover exclusive from Best Buy so I can afford to be a little patient....

I also pre-ordered the Thanos steelbook. Can't wait

how is it that they're no more than a few deleted scenes? There should be at least 30 mins worth

IMHO, the alternate Thanos/Gamora scene at the throne room is better and more powerful than the one in the movie because it explains why he loves her so much.

Perhaps the Russos decided filming or writing any more scenes wasn't necessary. Just because this is Infinity War didn't guarantee there'd be tons and tons of extras.

Yeah, Disney is notorious for skimping on extras with the Marvel movies. I didn't really expect Infinity War to be any different. At least they're something since a lot of films don't even have commentaries anymore but they're still a far cry from the extra discs loaded with bonus features for the first two Iron Man movies when they were released by Paramount.

Well, as far as recent films go, Civil War had a commentary. I can't speak for Guardians 2 or Homecoming because I don't own and didn't watch those films via purchase, and don't know about Ragnarok or Black Panther, but since the Russos had commentary for Winter Soldier and Civil War, I'd assume they had one for Infinity War.

Though it definitely sounds like a far cry if there's not as much compared to earlier phases. I still enjoy commentaries on earlier films like The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers, and First Avenger.

Yeah, they've been pretty consistent with the commentaries on the Marvel films, which is a bonus feature that many other studios have neglected. I think Homecoming was the only MCU film that didn't have a commentary, but that might be more to do with that being a Sony release.

Choreography pretty bad in the background unfortunately.

The director's roundtable extra was interesting. Wish it was longer than 30 minutes though.

Did anyone else think that the reason the Russo's gave for Thanos knowing who Stark is was pretty obvious?

I put this together during my first viewing.

Share your theory.

I just simply thought Thanos being Thanos, once Loki and The Chitauri were driven back from Earth, Thanos did a bit of research on The Avengers as he knew he would have to go back to Earth one day to get the mind stone.
