Ya you don't have time for that with your ironic Mother Theresa routine.

Whatever, we've done this little dance before and you don't take any personal feedback on. You call it Mother Theresa, I call it being respectful and open. If you're rather keeps things hostile, I'll just withdraw altogether.

Ya posting about how everyone annoys you is very rational. Perhaps a few more of :doh::doh::doh: these for added effect.

did i say everyone? nope. I clearly said that I get ignored when I (who knows these characters, am educated upon them, and have been on these boards for 10 years now.... and been through years of "newbies" coming on with suggestions that don't add up.. and do know how things work within the film industry, and on this very site) get ignored for counter arguing people who just don't listen, and continue to rant about their illogical assumptions.

having a discussion and educationally showing others why something is unlikely... is not a "fanboy rant" however.. name calling and acting childish.....

Uhhhh Chief, Wolvie called mine a fanboy rant. I said nothing about yours. Even though you started saying all of our ideas annoyed you.

And some, like me, think that creatures from Thor's Norse mythos are a possibility. A possibility that some seem to ignore, even though it makes perfect sense to the evolving storyline, and could even dovetail nicely with what these rumors are saying.

"Chariots" --- odd choice of words. What image does that conjure? Gods and goddesses. Like....Thor, who rides in a chariot. And others from the Norse realms.

Small group of "aliens"....? Thor himself is an alien. The movie more than hinted that the Nine Realms are distant planets instead of different dimensions of existence, and that the races there are alien races.

Small group of name aliens....? Here's some names from Marvel for you: Ymir. Karnilla. Kurse. Hela. Mangog. Fenris. Fafnir. Amora. Skurge. Malekith. Ulik. Surtur. The Midgard Serpent.

Any number of these could be persuaded to ally with Loki. Any number of these would pose a formidable challenge not only to Thor, but to the entire team as a whole. And here's a bit of trivia: *several* of those I named already appeared in Protosevich's first draft of the Thor script, so Marvel originally intended to use them in the movies anyway.

Plus, I'll point out that the "chariot" very much has an Asgardian "look" to it --- seems like it would be right at home in Jack Kirby's/ Kenneth Branagh's vision of Odin's throne room.

I've thought this too... though the "alien" gun... throws me off that theory.

but it really could be a mix of everything... from asgard, to kree, to skrull

Hey guys, how is everyo-

*looks at last few pages*

*slowly walks back out*

I bow to your greatness. You certainly have a very high opinion of yourself.

So .... the Avengers .....

No, I already think that Kang is in The Avengers; I also know there's a strong possibility that I could be wrong because I don't have official information. I need Marvel to REVEAL who the villain is so that I stop playing the guessing game. No one really has any proof who the other villain is in the movie yet, aside from maybe Poni, Marvel Freshman, or RIM(?).

Ah, I feel you brother. Fair enough, I'm pretty much in the same camp. I'm leaning towards a small Kree squad but pretty happy to wait it out until we get something official. These set pics are already a lot more than I was expecting to see, Marvel's usually pretty good with locking down those kinda costume shots and stuff.

Not sure where you're going with that. I was telling him in relation to our earlier conversation about Kang, that I wasn't ignoring the information that he was posting. I just don't have enough proof to think that it isn't Kang, I need Marvel to officially reveal who the other villain is so I can be sure.

we're not arguing over kang though. He's far more logical than the inhumans are (which is what caused both tonight and last nights discussions)

Yeah, I know something about being ignored (he said, checking his post that got completely lost and ignored among the epic fanboy flamewars going on here).

Anyway, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Nah ... let's just get back to talking Avengers.

I'm leaning to the Kree too.. it seems the most logical. Even if you want to count poni boys posts... could still be a small fraction with known kree characters.

Ok, looks like it's over, for now.

When is the D23 panel?

I know! They're annoyingly good at it! The secretive bastards. :cmad: I'm good with it being Kang, Kree, Skrulls, or whatever as long as it's an awesome movie... and it better be awesome.

Yeah, don't really know where the idea for the Inhumans came from. I don't see that happening in The Avengers.

I think we will be getting both Kree and Skrulls, the initial first waves(Small groups) of both, if not just Kree. Or Kang

either tomorrow or saturday i think

also..... I'll repeat... when did this Lou Forgino news suddenly appear?
I think Lou himself said it like a year and a half ago.

Who knows whether it's actually true or not...

I'm leaning Kree but I admit that Kang would be an inspired and unexpected choice, just not sure the whole "time travel" thing is a good idea.

It was also mentioned that it is a small group of different alien races. Like each one is a different race and they are all named with personas that we can look up online.

Who knows. If thats true it could throw a monkey wrench in the Kree idea (because they are the same race) and kind of supports the Kang or Inhuman theory.

hmm that's odd.. i distinctly remember a video interview with mark and people were asking him about his hulk lines..

inhumans are the same race too though....

but... i've also thought that maybe Loki summons several human races... thus how all the marvel universe alien races become aware of earth, and earth becomes aware of them. Loki does this as a distraction for his grand scheme. And then the Guardian's of the Galaxy movie deals with them cleaning up the intergalactic mess... while the avengers sequel deals with the resulting Kree/Skrull war.

Not sure they do back-to-back films revolving around aliens, at least I hope they won't; too many villains to go back to that well so soon.
