The Dark Knight Rises The average citizen FEAR of the dark knight

In the films, most of the time, the audience will not be frightened of the dark knight...except in BB...


In BB3, with the public 'knowledge' that batman is capable of killing, will the film show that the average people, those that needs to be saved is afraid of the dark knight?


Example: person get mugged, batman comes in, the person has the emotion of pure terror, relief and uncertanity.


Make the person frightened by the dark knight...like the JL: new froniter movie for example.

I don't think the average citizens will be terrified of Batman because he isn't killing random people, the people who he "killed" were all related to the mob so it will just make the criminals that much more afraid of him because he might actually kill them now.
