Furthermore, these are set photos. Plenty of costumes look "bad" in set photos but look amazing in official shots and film. You yourself admitted the official photos released of the suit were "not bad".

Bad is bad you make it sound as if everything you say is fact. "Well I don't like the costume for the show, it looks bad." So therefor because you say it's bad it can't look good to others? What a shocker that your in here complaining about something as usual for pages on end. Must be fun.

If I showed most people unfamiliar with the character the design of the comics suit and the design of the new tv show suit on paper most would agree that the comics suit is a better design.

I've been a fan of the character for years and followed closely the development of all things Flash since I was able to, I have a lot of investment in the character, you guys pop in here when there's something new and drop your two cents and get angry when I'm not swallowing whatever new flashy thing that flies down from the top just because of the sensation that it's something new with no barometer or regard to what the character is himself. I'm open to seeing things that are different from the comics as long as they're improvements, when they're bad like this you're damn right I'm going to ***** and say what I think of it.

Seriously, I know people who don't care about The Flash and have sene the suit and been interested in the show because the suit looks good. They don't give two ****s about the comics.

Although I like this costume, I completely agree with Kevin Smith that a more TASM2 style costume totally could work as well.

I'm totally ok with everything considering this is a TV show with the exception of the red background on the chest symbol. Had they made it white I would have zero complaints.

Yes they are set photos but they are the clearest and most honest looks at the suit we've got yet and I know they will change them for when the show airs, true the initial promo images they revealed were not bad but they were cleverly shot a certain way only to reveal certain things and keep other more controversial/ radical changes hidden as I suspected (oh yeah, there's the zipper and the Flash coat, lol...no sneakers though so I guess I was wrong on that at least).

Guys, I think we can all agree on one thing:

The three-time Oscar winning costume designer that made this suit must feel JUST TERRIBLE that this costume doesn't 100% match what has been done in comic-form and would LOVE to take into account the suggestions/concerns of a handful of nitpicky Hypesters.

Ethan Van Sciver is far from the best Flash artist though, not a good reference for how the ear pieces should look if you ask me. The suit looks great to me, the only part I'd change is the belt. The ear pieces are an improvement actually.
