Yeah. It makes me wish he hadn't done Dredd at all because that movie (even if it's good) will probably flop and I think he'd make a pretty good Batman.

Hmm...

Batman: Noah Wyle
Dick Grayson/Nightwing: Drew Roy
Jason Todd: Conner Jessup
Tim Drake: Maxim Knight
The Joker: Colin Cunningham
Jim Gordon: Will Patton
Catwoman/Selina Kyle: Moon Bloodgood
Holly: Seychelle Gabriel
Batgirl/Barbara Gordon: Sarah Carter

Urban's Dredd voice is QUITE similar to Bale's Bat voice...but I really don't want to hear any imitation of Bale's voice or something similar, from any actor in the future. Yikes!

Urban should just stick with Doctor Bones McCoy. ST2 is bound to be a massive boost for his career.

...we can end all speculation.. The next batman....is will arnett...... Who would have seen this coming..........lol

Ha, in all seriousness I do think some Falling Skies members could be in CBM, Noah Wyle is definitely good enough to be in a CBM in some capacity.

Yeah, I was watching it the other night and I started thinking that the kid who plays Hal would make a pretty good Nightwing... and then I just started looking at all of the actors and realized a number of the characters play roles similar to some Batman characters. A few were a reach (Wyle for sure) but you know how it is. I do think Wyle could play a good CBM character, though definitely not Batman. He'd be a great Bruce Banner but I hope to God they're done recasting that role. Maybe Reed Richards? He doesn't really look the part but I could see him balancing out the nerdy side of Reed with the heroic leader aspects.

Sounds like the role he played in the Librarian movies. I didn't see them so I can't really comment on how well he matches with Reed.

The whole thing again, minus Batman, cuz everyone gets hung up on the Batman and ignores the rest. :waa:

I'll take a shot -

ALFRED PENNYWORTH: Anthony Daniels - I've never seen him in a non C3P0 role, but why not?
COMMISSIONER GORDON: Bruce Boxleitner - Guy deserves a good role after all these years.
TWO-FACE/HARVEY DENT: Michael Mosley - Not familiar with him.
CATWOMAN/SELINA KYLE: Lauren Cohan - She's very attractive, I can see it.

LUCIUS FOX: Clarke Peters - Love it.
ROBIN/DICK GRAYSON: Callan McAuliffe - Don't know him.
BATGIRL/BARBARA GORDON: Molly Quinn - This works.
DET. RENEE MONTOYA: Dania Ramirez - Don't know her.
DET. HARVEY BULLOCK: Wade Williams - Guy seems to love Batman, can definitely see him as Bullock.

VICKI VALE: Autumn Reeser - Sure.
LESLIE THOMPKINS: Ellen Burstyn - Fantastic.
SLAM BRADLEY: Jeffrey Dean Morgan - More JDM is good with me.
HOLLY ROBINSON: Jordan Hinson - Don't know her.
SARAH ESSEN: Connie Britton - Great.

CARMINE FALCONE: David Morse - Have a hard time picturing it, but I love David Morse, so go for it.
SAL MARONI: Todd Stashwick - Seems to fit.
RUPERT THORNE: John Doman - The more Wire alums the better.
ROLAND DAGGETT: Gregg Henry - Not familiar with this character.
DR. HUGO STRANGE: Jared Harris - Great

JOKER: Aaron Paul - Brilliant
SCARECROW: Mark Pellegrino - I can see him as The Riddler or The Joker as well, but he'd be a great Scarecrow.
RIDDLER: James Callis - He could probably pull off a couple of Batman villians.
POISON IVY: Evan Rachel Wood - Why not?
PENGUIN: Willie Garson - Don't know him.

KILLER CROC: Kevin Durand - Obvious, but perfect,
HARLEY QUINN: Rose McIver - Don't know her.
MR. FREEZE: Tobin Bell - Would you like to play a game, Batman?
MAD HATTER: Simon McBurney - What a creepo, perfect.
VENTRILOQUIST: Colin Mochrie - Hopefully his villainous plans would take the form of improv challenges.

RA'S AL GHUL: Sean Bean - Seems like a fitting role for a man who has died so many times.
TALIA AL GHUL: Dichen Lachman
LADY SHIVA: Maggie Q
HUNTRESS/HELENA BERTINELLI: Tania Raymonde
BATWOMAN/KATE KANE: Deborah Ann Woll - These four are all very lovely ladies.

Karl Urban as Batman
Keanu Reeves as Ra's Al Ghul
Kristen Stewart as Catwoman

"The Wooden Knight"

I like quite a few of your choices Rockstar, I guess for now I'll go for:

Main players-

Bruce Wayne- Michael Fassbender
Alfred Pennyworth- Bill Nighy
Jim Gordon- Bryan Cranston
Lucius Fox- Idris Elba
Richard Grayson- Douglas Booth
Roman Sionis (film 1)- Liev Schriber
Oswald Cobblepot (film 1)- Philip Seymour Hoffman (I know, predictable)
Eddie Nashton (film 2)- David Tennant
Tommy Elliot (film 2)- Jude Law
Hugo Strange (film 3)- Patrick Stewart
Joker (film 3)- ?

That is a good list, filled with interesting people. Here is some of the ideas I had on this:

Bruce Wayne- Ryan Gosling
Alfred Pennyworth-Bill Nighy
Jim Gordon-Chris Cooper (who was originally up for the role in Nolan's films)
Edward Nygma-Edward Norton
Mr. Freeze- Patrick Stewart
Hugo Strange- Robin Williams ( I know, obviously. But he looks the part.)
Barbara Gordon-Jessica Chastain
Black Mask- Viggo Mortensen
Oswald Cobblepot-Ray Winstone

I particularly love Gosling and Nighy together in those roles. And I think Winstone would kill as Cobblepot.

Yeah, he really knocked it out of the park with that character and I'm sure the sequel will be great.

Also, Jon Hamm cannot play Batman because he was recently robbed. Batman would never allow such a thing to happen. :D

http://www.eonline.com/news/jon_ham...e&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_tvnews

Jon Hamm should absolutely play Clark Kent/Superman in a 1950's set film. He would be perfect for the role if set in that era. I know it would read alot like Mad Men, but the minute I saw him on that show I thought he would be perfect for Clark.

Urban's Dredd voice is QUITE similar to Bale's Bat voice...but I really don't want to hear any imitation of Bale's voice or something similar, from any actor in the future. Yikes!

Just thought I'd point out that Urban's most likely not doing an imitation Bale Bat-voice, if anything he's doing an imitation Eastwood Dirty Harry - as he was the inspiration for Dredd [for those that might not be aware].

I need a list of characters who played pivotal roles in the Batman: Hush story, please.

In a one-off film, yes, but the man isn't aging well at all. I shudder to imagine how old Hamm would look at the end of a trilogy.

Maybe it's just by love of BTAS talking, but I really want to see Rupert Thorne in live action.

I'm probably gonna catch some flack for this, but.....Tom Hiddleston as the Joker.

Why would you get flack? He'd be excellent.

Most difficult part finding a guy who can be good Batman & Wayne.Casting rest is easy.
