I kinda agree with the third part of your view. He's not a bad actor either. It's just that, for me, the "Clooney-ness" of him is too strong lolClooney has more range than people give him credit for. If you watch Syriana, From Dusk til Dawn or The American, you can see that he could have portrayed a good, dark Batman if the script and the direction hadn't been complete sh**. He does have a persona that he reverts to in most of his movies, but that's what movie stars do (see: Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Cary Grant, and any big name blockbuster star). But he is capable of stepping outside of it when the role calls for it.
