And yet WB is still planning a Justice League movie, something Nolan has shown no interest in.Not at all.
We got recent confirmation from Variety that Nolan is strongly influencing all the new DC film projects from now on, in the same vein as Bruce Timm and the animated division.
I believe you mean the woman, as J.K. Rowling managed to get final say on everything. The article specifically compared Nolan's involvement in these projects to that of the man behind the eight Harry Potter features.
Not really.Obviously Warners and him have worked out some massive deal and they're relying on him for creative and quality control.
I didn't think it at all, Nolanites exaggerated it and I pointed that out to them.We had this conversation before. You thought Variety was exaggerating Nolan's involvement in lieu of TDKR on the horizon.
I wouldn't say he's the only one who knows what he's doing at WB, especially considering WB isn't just focused on Nolan Batmovies and Inception. Nolan had nothing to do with WB's Oscar winning The Artist, nor any of their other highly acclaimed films.I personally think Nolan's involvement makes logical sense. He's the only one who knows what he's doing at the studio. It makes sense to trust his judgement with Warners' superhero properties, since the studio has failed in their recent ventures without him.

So no, Nolan does not have as much power as you think.
I still think Christina Hendricks would be perfection as Poison Ivy. I dont really care about Chastain or anybody elses status in the industry or their oscar nominations to be honest. I just think Hendricks fits the look and would nail the character better.
I wouldn't mind Chastain as a future love interest though.
And last..Mr Freeze. A stand-alone Batman vs Freeze set in winter. Some fantasy, but you can ground that character more than you think.
Like I said on the previous page, Freeze can be grounded in reality with the right scientific explanation for his condition and his cryogeneic life support.
I think they should stick with Nolan's "what if this happened in the real world" approach, since Man of Steel is doing the same.
Keep it consistent.

I have an idea for a new Batman film series!
Would you guys be interested in hearing it?
Here's another mistake you, as well as a few others keep making. Man of Steel is not Nolan's movieHe had no interest in crossing over his Batman films and his Superman films into Justice League,
No offense to Nolan, but WB doesn't care.because he said he envisioned each as isolated to it's own respective worlds.
Just like the now shelved JLA movie was gonna be.He never specifically said he's against a self-contained Justice League film. The characters would just have to be envisioned differently to fit with that concept.
And yet, he stayed true to the books, something Nolan barely did with his take on Batman.Variety compared Nolan's new involvement with the DC pictures to how "WB entrusted producer David Heyman with all eight "Harry Potter" films."

Variety can disagree all they want, Nolan doesn't have that much control, even over DC properties. He's only a producer of Man of Steel, nothing more, nothing less.Variety disagrees.
And obviously I meant he's the only one at WB who knows what he's doing with specific regards to their DC properties.
The other acclaimed films at Warners are moot to this specific discussion on the DC/WB features.
A lot of the creative decisions that Snyder made, changes to Goyer script or other ideas were always passed along to Nolan to see if he agreed or not. Snyder came to Nolan, im pretty sure you know this but you just think Nolan took Goyers idea to the studio and that;s it. He's more involved than you think. Who do you think brought Hans Zimmer on board? Who do you think brought his brother along to touch up Goyers draft? Christopher Nolan.

Nolan drew from the books and turned Batman into a billion dollar film franchise.
I picked Ben Foster as The Riddler because he seems to be in line with the likes of Heath Ledger, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and JGL, from a Hollywood standpoint.
Rising stars.
how epic would a gregory peck batman vs Clint Walker Superman
Ben Foster's more Zsasz material to me.
