I'd like to see Garrett Hedlund from rong Legacy play Batman. Great voice for it. Reminds me of a younger Peter Wellar. Him or Armie Hammer.

I can't stand Rhys Meyers OR Hedlund. No thanks. :down

Theres something about Rhys Meyers that bothers me. Especially that second picture. He looks like hes going to murder someone lol.

It would be crazy if Jonathan Rhys Meyers was looked at for the next Batman/Bruce Wayne

Don't know anything about him but he has the perfect face for the role of Batman and Bruce Wayne. Garrett Hedlund looks more like a Robin to me.

He's no more effeminate than Bale. And height is an easy issue to deal with.

Good choice if they go with an older Bruce. That's something that could really work if they want to introduce Robin. And Gibson plays a very Batman-like character on Criminal Minds. I could easily see him in the role.

Other ideas... Timothy Olyphant for an older Batman and Desmond Harrington for a younger one.

Bruce Wayne needs a touch of ruggedness, I don't think you can just cast a pretty boy. Currently I like Eric Dane and Armie Hammer for the role. They both have deep(er) voices, and have an aire of masculinity that fits perfect for the role. It's almost as though Bruce needs to represent that old hollywood image of "sexy", the new one doesn't mesh well with his character.

Well if anyone happens to catch Criminal Minds some time, Gibson almost sounds like Conroys Batman from TAS. that and his characters wife was killed by gunshot right in front of him, his personality and facial expressions just scream Batman

Gibson looks pretty good to me actually, just not familiar with him at all.

I'm honestly not convinced Jim Carrey would be bad at Joker, he may actually be quite good, but nah...there were better suggestions for Joker already.

Knight Rise: Liam Aiken as Robin is a great suggestion. But when the time comes that Robin will be introduced, he's off the list. We can't have a Chris O'Donnel-adult-Robin, again.
The same goes for Logan Lerman, Kodi Smit-McPhee etc, all perfect actors who will be family fathers before that.

Not really. Neither are my choice for Robin, but how old do you think they are?

Haha, I remember Thomas Gibson from Dharma and Greg. He was a decent sitcom actor, but I've never seen him in a dramatic role. If he's a good dramatic actor, then I'd be all for him (as I love his look and voice)...except for the fact that he's almost 50-years-old. Might as well go with the 10-years-younger Jon Hamm in that instance.

Majik: Aiken is born 90, Lerman 92, and Kodi I am not sure....96?
Robin in Batman Forever was 25 years old and didn't feel enough like a teenager.

It all depends on when they make a Batman reboot, because Nolan won't use Grayson in his trilogy

I'd go Eric Dane: Batman older
