i couldnt agree more on bryan cranston as gordon.

speaking of breaking bad cast members, ive seen a few people suggest aaron paul as the joker and the more i think about it , the more i see it . he's a young, talented , up - and-coming actor with alot of range , much like heath. and i always thought he had this crazy look in his eyes . he reminds me alot of ben foster too, who'd also make a great joker.rhys ifans actually would probably be good as the joker as well . his role in the 51st state( which may not have been the greatest of movies but was entertaining to say the least ) has this very mischevious, trickster-like charm to it that feels very jokerish to me. also paul bettany would be great.

Who else thinks Colin Farrell would make an amazing Batman?

He was supposedly cast during the BVS days, by Wolfgang Petersen. I think he'd be an interesting choice, but I do feel there are lot more hopeful candidates now than there were a couple years back, when he probably would have been excellent in comparison to the rest.

I don't really think so. None of the mentioned actors are better actors than Colin, and he's definitely got the looks for it.

Agreed. He's an amazing actor. I think he would definitely give us an awesome interpretation of Batman.

My top three choices are as follows:

1) Jeffrey Dean Morgan
2) Jon Hamm
3) Colin Farrell

I haven't seen The Way Back yet, but I plan on seeing it tonight. This week has been Colin Farrell week, I've seen just about every one of his movies.

Who cares? He's got the look and the acting chops. If he can't fight, get a stunt double to do that for him.

Hamm's a great actor. He's amazing in Mad Men--love that show. Some scenes where he's being haunted by his past just Scream Bruce Wayne to me. He's got a great build for Bruce/Bats. You mention, DrCosmic, about action roles... Now don't get me wrong, I love the Nolan films, but come on, how hard is it to throw an occaisional elbow? My missus does that in her sleep.

He is a great actor, no doubt, but I just can't see him in a mask. I somehow doubt he'd ever want to.

And that was my main gripe with the Nolan films, that they didn't require much fighting. They did require great physical endurance to wear the suit though.
