I'm still pro-Witwer but does anyone think that Nathan Fillion might be a good older Batman? He does look the part, at least Tony Daniel's version.

Younger-Henry Cavill,Tom Hardy(?) ,or Sam Witwer.
Older-Jeffery Donovan(The Question),Jon Hamm,or Adam Baldwin(The Thing)

Batman: Jon Hamm or Adrian Pasdar
Alfred: Pete Postlewaithe
Joker: Benicio Del Toro
Two Face: Liev Schrieber
Catwoman: Emily Blunt
Ra's Al Ghul: Viggo Mortensen
Scarecrow: Michael Emerson

Tom Hardy is is around the same height as Michael Keaton. Well there goes getting rid of the rubber Batsuits.:csad:

Sam Witwer might be a bit short but so was Keaton. If he can look and act the part, it's okay. Cavill and Fillion are tall enough for the role and look the part. All three are great actors but you might need a rubber Bat-suit for Witwer. Cavill and Fillion can go with the classic black-and-gray one.

Witwer's not a bad choice. I still he him as more of a villain though. IDK y

Honestly, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
Just because the recent Batman films were awe-mazing (it's a word) doesn't mean there should now be a perpetual franchise of multiple films.
Because the paradox is that, this idea in itself, will end up ruining the Nolan's legacy and ruin the very thing that you're trying to build on by making more movies off of it.

In term of Batman in another movie post Nolan-verse:
There's two things I would like to have happen... obviously happen well. :p

1) A JLA movie needs to happen at least 10 years from now. After mild to successful intro films about Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman (I don't think a Martian Manhunter movie would fly on it's own.) as well as a well done Superman reboot.
Finally in a JLA movie, they would need to go focus on earlier days of all these characters. Most likely a post TDK Batman. And have Batman be the uncooperative prick who helps, but works on his own and figures out the plot and comes to everyones' rescue in the end.
I can imagine Kingdom Come-like scenes of a younger Superman having a candid convo with Batman trying to convince him to do the right thing, instead of trying to control Gotham using fear and intimidation, etc.

2) Another possible post Nolan Batman could be an adaption of THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS with Miller as the writer/co-director (maybe). Set Decades after the third Nolan film with an aging Bats, and keep it basically true to the comic, with modifications of course to suit a movie.

Someone mentioned Sam Witwer for Bruce Wayne... I could get down with that. Even though he really doesn't resemble Bruce Wayne a whole lot, I think he could definitely pull off an awesome Batman. Still would like to see Bale as Batman in a JL movie, though. Especially if the movie happens soon.

Where has Bale said he doesn't want to do Batman anymore after Batman 3? News to me.

Sam Witer gives of a very creepy vibe for me. :|
I don't see him as a charming suave and conflicted Wayne.

you make it sound like nolan and bales interpretation of batman is the only good one possible in the foreseeable future, which isn't true, just because it's successful doesn't make it the be all end all of batman movies.

No.
But it's a pretty good one, if not the best, so far.
Keyword: So far.

Personally I would prefer the Batman movie franchise to end on this high-note, and leave everything as is.
However others feel like recasting, rebooting, making multiple sequels to a franchise that is already the best one... so far.
All at the risk of ruining any future Batman films, if they're not as good as the current.

What's the point?

Bale is a great Batman. I don't know that his Batman would work well in a Justice League adaptation, however. It's not even because of him; simply that the realistic take that Nolan has taken with that character wouldn't lend itself well to a world where people have superpowers. So, I'd be open to recasting the role in a JL film.

As for who could do it? I'm not sure since this film might be WAY off and actors who are the right age now might be too old when the cameras are rolling. Jon Hamm is a great suggestion but I agree, he's getting suggested for everything these days.

James Caviezel is my dream pick for an older established Bruce Wayne / Batman.

But Keaton never looked like this!

No rubber suit needed for Hardy IMO.

And if not Batman, Hardy might make a really good post-Ledger Joker

I'd like to see one of these two Batsuit in a Batman Reboot:

If I see Batman is Blue in any future film I will puke.

If Bale doesn't want to come back and they have to recast I want....

Viggo Mortensen

Jon Hamm for a Bruce Wayne/Batman in a live action TV show.

or

Jon Hamm for Clark Kent/Superman in a feature film.

IMHO Jon Hamm would make a far better Bruce Wayne/Batman then he would Kal-El/Superman.

Yeah, last weeks episode of Mad Men basically proved that. lolz

Yeah i could see Hamm as Batman, but never as Superman. Even his Lex Luthor video was a bit more on the head. Lol, that video was ****ing hilarious.

If Bale leaves after Batman 3 I think Wes Bentley would be a good choice to take over the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman.
