In second place yesterday behind Ready Player One was Disney/Marvel’s unstoppable Black Panther which made $2.07M (+19% from Wednesday) and a running total of $639.4M.

So it looks like this is hitting #3 domestic, and #10 worldwide. Foreign is grinding to a halt. I could see foreign dying at $620 M, and domestic pulling $680 M for $1.3 B.

Yeah that's what I expected from a while back for final finishing spots. China aside, most of the other overseas markets have made most of their money, and China as usual came and went in super-fast style. Looking forward to this taking both of those spots.

Regardless, it is still a magnificent accomplishment. I would've never imagined a BP movie to rate this high at the box office. I am beyond proud!

Foreign should end up closer to $630M than $620M. Keep in mind we're only getting OS updates once a week now(well, technically twice: once on Sunday with estimates, and once on Monday with actuals), so the current OS number does not include what it has made since last Sunday. It should already be very close to $620M OS after this weekend.

And if it gets $630M OS, it needs $670M domestic to reach $1.3B, and it'll pass $670M DOM comfortably.
