Yeah, he could...but he's just waiting for Mandarin's corpse to spring back to life.
 
I was thinking of picking up a female next season. I had my mind set on Arachne, but playing an Avenger is tempting...
 
So I'm guessing we're just waiting for a Thor post before we can start getting things wrapped up
 
Hey, sorry I've not been around this past week. Just caught up on the game there - MichaelChen, kudos on the Mandarin's death scene. It's not common for an RPG post to totally surprise me, but that one pulled it off.

Looking forward to this Thor/Loki confrontation, bkhedr. It's been a season in the works! The end of the season is nigh, folks.

It was a scene I've had in my head for a while now. The Mandarin is all about macho arrogance, and Stark is all about being clever and practical, so it seemed like the perfect way to pit those personalities against each other.

So, I've been trying to get things ready for next season's OOC thread, and I thought about a change up in our banner. I know the current one is a classic, but the idea I had would incorporate the old one too.

Maybe have the banner photoshopped on to this rather cool spread by Djurdjevic? You know, something like that.

So, with the Avengers storyline about to wrap up, how much time does everyone think we need before we wrap this bad boy up? First of June is next Tuesday. Would a week be a good enough time for everyone to wrap up their final posts? I'll have one more post with IM after the Avengers stuff is wrapped up and one DD post after the stuff with Sabretooth, so a week is very feasible to me.
 
I just need maybe two more posts to end things with Banner for the season, so a week is fine with me too.
 
Spider-Man has a rather huge IC event involving his arch-nemesis to respond to, so I'll need to get a post up for that. Maybe one wrap up post afterwards, but otherwise, a week is perfectly fine with me too.
 
I have one more post planned for Hawkeye to wrap things up, and tease at our new member, so a week is fine. I'll prbly have that up tomorrow in fact.

Are we finishing up with awards then?
 
Yeah, we're close to the 2K mark and the season is wrapping up, so we'll do awards later this week.
 
Just to let you guys know, I'm pretty much done with Iron Lad for the season. Can't think of anything else to write as a season-ender and my last post seemed suitable enough for that so I'll just end it with that.
 
And that should be a wrap for Cap and Hawkeye. I may go back and tidy the posts up though, nopt totally happy with them for some reason
 
Even so, nicely done with the SHIELD bit. Got me excited to see her return to the team.

I also have to say, as a teaser for next season, that a certain Star Spangled Avenger may also be taken with the blond bombshell that comes to save the day.

If this looks familiar to some, it should. I based it off of the one used in the DC RPG. That one has seem to suffice for a few seasons so I figured I would integrate it here.
 
There we go. I think that's a more fitting finale for Hawkeye that brings this season and his return full circle.
