Is this Easter egg relevant to BvS? Could it be that Lex decode some message in the krypton scout ship, and discovered Bertron's partial how-to-make/how-to-defeat Doomsday?

Also we've seen Aquaman and Wonder Woman, but nothing on Cyborg. I really wonder if he's going to be just a cameo, or a minor character. I still subscribe to the theory that during the Doomsday's rampage Victor Stone gets heavily injured leading to his Cyborg prosthetics.

In New 52, Zod first defeated Doomsday on Krypton and sent him to the Phantom Zone. Maybe that's what "the Last War" is.

Yep. Doomsday also functioned as a virus of sorts, infecting Superman (and causing him to start transforming into Doomsday), after the Trinity defeated him.

It definitely seems they are drawing from New 52's take on that story.

Perhaps Zod defeats him on Krypton, and is imprinted (purposely or accidentally) with Doomsday's DNA. And later, Lex triggers it with his experiments and/or with the Genesis Chamber.

Seems roundabout to explain it all. This film has enough going on without detours into going back to Krypton again.

I think Batman and Superman fight doomsday for a while, Bats in his plane of course. Then when his plane is taken out that's when WW comes in and he just gadgets the **** outta Doomsday.

That's what I'm thinking too. They fight Doomsday alone for a while and then WW arrives to help. I'm also curious how they defeat that thing.

No Doomsday should not die. Plus, maybe with his super-adaptive capacity, now under earth's sun he can draw energy from the sun like an ordinary Kryptonian.

It would lack creativity to phantom-zone him again. But maybe he can be sent to another dimension via divine magic or something with Wonder Woman being involved. Sort of like the idea of a science fiction-y take on the ancient Greek mythological titans being "bound within Mount Tartarus." Same type of idea but within a multiverse/inter-dimensional/mystical framework where science and magic intersect.

He has a grenade launcher with kryptonite grenades. There's no reason for him to go into close combat with Doomsday and there's no way in hell he'd do it. He'd be dead in an instant.

Because Wonder Woman is too womanly to handle the fighting and Batman has to take her sword to finish Doomsday off.
