Man, you guys are making wish I got the Target digibook and 3D version. lol
But yeah for those of you who didn't know. The Best Buy steelbook is two sided. There isn't TWO different covers one for Supes and one for Bats, it's one cover with one on either side

Funny enough, I flipped the two sides to where Superman is on the front now with the spine going to correct way. I just prefer that as the cover than the Batman one...which is shocking considering how much I love the Bats.

In the special features, I think it was said best. They used the comics as influences, namely TDK Returns. But they did their own thing with a new story. The Ultimate Cut is *the* movie, and it's the only version I'll be watching from now on. At three hours, it really is a superhero epic.

To be honest, it kind of feels like the only superhero epic we've ever had.

THE DARK KNIGHT, as the resident GOAT of the genre, isn't this size and that's mainly due to the fact that it's concentrated on one character in one city. And while BATMAN v SUPERMAN is technically focused on two cities, the fate of the characters and the fate of the future of the larger world is at stake in this picture...not to mention the expanding of the universe.

So yeah, because of length and because of the scope of the thing, it earns the label of "epic".

No other commentary has come close to the greatness of Blade 2's commentary. Those Commentaries, especially the Snipes/Goyer one, are even more entertaining than the movie itself!

BvS doesn't have a DVD version of the Ultimate Edition. It's just in Theatrical. That's the point we're trying to make

I know haha. The point I'm trying to make is its 2016. Time to upgrade to blu ray. We all upgraded from VHS to DVD. Now it's time for some of you to join us in the sun and upgrade from DVD to Blu ray. You'll thank me

I would almost disagree with that statement since a lot of people do still buy just DVDs, but I'd only agree about jumping to Blu-Ray because Blu-Ray players nowadays are so cheap. Hell, I only just got one last year that was just $60, but now mostly see if there are combos like Blu Ray + DVD or Blu Ray + Digital HD (why there's no Blu Ray+Digital HD combo of The Winter Soldier without having to buy a 3D version of the film is beyond me), but rarely would I get just DVD standard anymore.

Lol, true. I only have it as part of a boxed set of the Burton and Schumacher films, with special editions of all of them.
I think I've ONLY watched B&R with the commentary since getting them, lol.

Digital is still a step back from Blu Ray.

Blu Ray is the best quality you can get now if you disregard 4K.

Pfft. I bought the digital copy on June 28. That kept me over until this week, when I bought the 3D Combo Pack and 4K combo pack.

Some shots were added, and others were removed.
One member here is so upset about that specific shot being absent, that they've refused to buy the UE, IIR.

I picked up the Digibook from Target and watched the first three special features. My girlfriend and I watched the UC and enjoyed the additions but it was a draining experience. I think I will watch it in parts next time I revisit it.

But like I said not EVERYONE or even every business can afford to update. Example, I'm sure hotel chains can't afford to upgrade every time a new version (dvd to bluray to 3d to 4k) comes out.
DVD's are more compatible with laptops, and take up NO memory ON a laptop.
Digital formats don't always work if the connections in you area stink.

lol I got a dvd/bluray player for $50 thing is there's no wifi on it so it's not a "smart" one

To ME 4k is like 3D is to some people, the images look too sharp. Like pictures were cut out and pasted to the background.
I love my Blurays but I love the portability of dvd, which Is why I have many movies either in Combo, or I have two of.

I'm more a Bats Fan but I agree, THIS is supposed to be a follow up to MoS not Dark Knight, Supes SHOULD be the front cover so to speak

Very easy. I used a gift card. You can use a credit card but I literally got between the plastic frame that holds the disc and the covers and just popped them off and reversed them. It's stupid simple.
