Most havebrought up Black Widow and Scarlet Witch as they are already a part of the universe plus Scarlet Witch was in the original Infinity Gauntlet story but Carol Danvers wasn't.

Not bad at all. I feel Japan will explode one day for CBMs, even if that day is a long way away.

Japan is a different market. It will never be huge for the main blockbusters, especially superheroes, because they have plenty domestic versions that get movies every year.

I do think something like Spider-verse will be able to break out a bit more than your standard MCU movie, though.

Black Widow is getting a solo movie next year. Scarlet Witch is getting a show. Also the fact that there already are some female heroes in the MCU doesn't mean Marvel shouldn't bother introducing new ones. What kind of reasoning is that

Bad faith arguments. Bad faith arguments everywhere. Their real problem is that they don't find Brie Larson's Captain Marvel appealing enough (if you get what I mean), so according to them she has no right to exist.

Which is fine, I guess, since I feel the same way about them.
