How did team Stark know, that team Cap will come to the airport?

I think they knew cap knee a Quinn jet was their. And cap and bucky were likely trapped in germany... unable to cross a boarder. Quinn jets I also believe can't be tracked

I can definitely understand those points. If anything, the thing that I'm most disappointed in (but not enough to obviously detract my excitement and anticipation for the film itself) is that I had been somewhat hoping that we would get to see a scenario where Peter would have been conflicted about which side to join and how he idolized/respected both Iron Man and Captain America, but decides to ultimately choose his own path after the chaos that comes from the airport sequence.

If anything, I would have been settled if we just got one scene/shot of Peter AFTER the airport sequence to serve as a nice bookend to his introduction in the film.

Plus, I would have loved the idea if Spider-Man would have been used as an example of a new age of heroes coming about from the shadows as a result (direct or not) of Cap's own legacy.
Would have been nice yeah. I think there would have been room for a separate Cap 3 and standalone Civil War film (without Cap in the title, essentially just a MCU event film) and then it would make sense to give a new character with a fresh perspective on the debate a lot more weight. If they intended on Spidey eventually becoming a leading light of the MCU, picking up the baton from the old hands who may take a back seat for a while after IW, then I'm sure Marvel would also have wanted this.

I honestly wonder, if Marvel's deal with Sony had taken place like an year earlier, would the Russos have made Spider-Man's role in this larger than what it already is/was?

I mean from everything that I heard, it seems like the only things that Tom really shot was his introductory scene with RDJ and MT, followed by a few shots of him with his mask semi-off. I wouldn't be surprised if they went into filming the airport sequence without having selected an actor for the role as of yet and only had Tom like do voice over followed by filming his shots with his mask semi-off in front of a green screen.

I kind of wish that he had a bigger role in this film, enough to warrant his own mini arc. It just seems like he was in this film for pure spectacle and just to show people that the upcoming spider-man solo film is connected to the MCU.

Doubtful. Story wise more peter/spidey just wouldn't of made sense. He makes an impact and his time is well utilized

can't believe i haven't asked this yet:

does spider-man ever throw a punch?

He kicks major butt. Can't remember a specific punch thrown. He essentially takes out WS and Falcon by himself. Catches Bucky's metal fist with ease while Bucky tries to punch him.

I like the screen time Peter is getting. It's enough to satisfy the fans without just being shoehorned in. After his solo movie I think he'll play a bigger role in the MCU. He may even cameo in another MCU film before the Infinity War starts, who knows?

Remember, they were heading into the Airport when security locked down. Hawkeye had a helicopter for them at the airport. Tony tracked them to the airport. Team Stark showed up in the Quinn jet and once they were confronted, Cap saw the quinn jet in the hanger and Cap changed plans to get to that over the copter.

Ahhhhhh I missed the helicopter part.

So yeah 2 things I'm not sure about or seem a bit unexplained.. not sure why both teams knew there would be a fight at the airport then, nor do I know how Tony conveniently found out spider-man was Peter parker...

And what that may mean for his villains finding out

Nat told Tony she had a source telling her where Steve was headed. I still think it's Sharon because they cut right to her meeting up with Steve & Co on the road.

As for Peter's identity. Tony lives in NYC and there's a guy crawling up buildings, spinning webs and fighting crime, dressed a as a spider. I bet he found out who he was within the first week.

Yeah, when they got Ant-man it was said they had to go to Siberia and that Hawkeye had a copter waiting at the airport. They knew they were being tracked and Team IronMan would show up soon (which is why they got Scott and the rest)

When they got to the airport it immediately went into lockdown and they fanned out knowing Ironman and crew were here.

I suppose the Government tracked down Cap Jason Bourne style and knew that's where they were going so they met them at the airport. It isn't discussed but it isn't hard to assume they tracked Cap or even Hawkeye to the airport.

As for Tony and Peter, he knew Peter was a smart kid that was into science and used his MIT scholarship as a ruse to get in the door with Aunt May. He showed Peter the youtube videos and I want to say he had a small line about how he deduced it was Peter. He wasn't 100% and needed Peter's confirmation.

That reminds me anything interesting happen with Ross in the film?

Still how do you go from a swinging guy in red and blue pajamas to a smart kid in Queens?

Tony should have pulled a tracker off him and Peter makes a comment about how he could use a few of those (setting up the spider-tracers)

Still kinda sucks how they don't explain it and just want you to assume Tony has the resources to figure it out. Maybe in the director's cut? Would have loved to see a scene with Tony in costume seeing someone swinging through the streets and following him home. That or one of his bots locating him. Anything besides just knowing Tony figured it out. Kinda takes away from Peter's ability to keep his identity a secret.

Not really. Best line was that he told Cap that if he lost two 30 ton nukes, he'd be in a world of trouble. So where are Banner and Thor?

That reminds me again what is the context of the helicopter scene and does Cap manage to pull it off and take the helicopter down? If so how does he do it? Like does he just swing it back onto the platform? If not what happens afterwards?

Zemo sets the Winter Solider loose (reads him Hydra code words) after he's been captured and brought in. The gov has shoot on sight orders so Cap is trying to help Bucky by chasing him down. Bucky gets in the copter to get away and Cap stops it. Bucky then uses the copter as a weapon against Cap.

Why explain it? Peter is a kid from Queens, and there is no conceivable way he'd be able to hide from someone who was looking for him who had the resources Tony does. He could just get Friday to just hack into the traffic, store and bank cameras and follow him home that way. Peter is a street level crime hero but if Gen Ross had his eye on him he'd track him down too.

That scene was awesome.
Steve at one point starts, not just stopping, but pulling the chopper. Yeah, Bucky then turns the blades toward the roof. Chopper goes down, Steve looks through the windshield and metal arm punches through, choking Steve.
Cap then pushes the chopper off the roof.
Metal grip around his neck still.
All go tumbling into the sea below.
Cap surfaces with an unconscious Bucky.

If he's able to figure out his identity that easily what stops any other villain with similar resources? Think about it.

Nothing stops them but that's their weakness. No need to make Tony less because SM's enemies are buffoons.

Buffoons? Ever heard of Otto Octavius? How about Norman Osborn? Does Wilson Fisk ring a bell?

They can't track down a kid from Queens and put 1+1 together when Peter Parker happens to get all those photos. If the buffoonery fits. :o
