This scene good?

We get to see Vision's density manipulation tricks, and Wanda incapacitating Vision in a most awesome way (causing him to drop all the way to the ground below with her powers).

So does this film somewhat prove/show that Cap's New Avengers (at the start of the film, prior to the Civil War breakup) actually deal with regular earth-based threats that aren't associated with Hydra?

One of my few issues with the MCU's Avengers has always been that they don't seemingly do enough outside of Hydra related villains or alien threats.

And Hawkeye? Does he do anything badass?

Oh and if someone doesn't mind answering this for me...

I'm kind of confused on what I've heard about the ending. So is Steve just on the run from the law or is it hinted/shown that Steve still plans on protecting the world, but just doing so from the shadows?

It's very hard to tell. The only time we see Steve after the Tony battle (besides the mid credits scene) is helping Sam escape prison after beating up a bunch of guards, but on the other hand he left his shield with Tony

Iron Man has Cap down after a second wind, then we get the "I can do this all day" exchange, before Bucky grabs IM's leg to distract him. Then Cap kicks Tony's ass. The fight finally ends when Cap smashes his shield into IM's arc reactor. "You don't deserve that shield," says Tony to Cap, who leaves his shield with a beaten Iron Man.

That's it? A leg grab? Sounds like some epic jobbing. I was hoping they would at least come up with a reasonable plot-device.

This is the best movie I have never seen. I don't even care that I am spoiled, it sounds epic.

1. Does this movie contain any references to Inhumans?
2. Is Brock Rumlow referenced to as Crossbones on screen?
3. Is Rumlow covered in burns and scars?
4. Do Natasha and Wanda talk to each other early in the film? Are they friends?
5. In the scenes at the Raft, are the captured Avengers held prisoner in costume, or are they in prison garb?

So question, is it mentioned if Spider-Man or Ant-Man are affected by the Accords? Because I remember having an argument about whether it's just for the Avengers or super heroes in general.

1. No.
2. Not that I remember.
3. Yes. There's one point where Rumlow has his helmet removed and you see his scarred, burnt face.
4. They talk strategy in the beginning, but I didn't notice any close bonds.
5. They're wearing a blue prison uniform.

I'm curious to know if the other Avengers are also in Wakanda or not, or if they all went separate ways once they got broken out. Maybe it's left open on purpose so that they have more options going into the next movies.

We only see Steve and Bucky along with T'Challa in Wakanda during that mid-credits scene.

They may have broken up, while agreeing to make a rendezvous at a certain point later on.

Isn't is kind of the same? In the MCU if you are a superhero that is known to the public you are an Avenger. Antman is effected since Cap told him if you join his side you are a criminal. Which Lang rightfully answers "What else is new?". Spidey basically joins Ironman side since Tony playfully threatens to tell Aunt May he is Spiderman. Peter is sort of in awe that Tony Stark was in his room he couldn't say no.

Some character interactions that I didn't know were going to happen that I enjoyed

T'Challa and Widow
Falcon and Bucky
Tony and Peter / Spidey and Cap

I was asking because someone kept saying Spider-Man and Ant-Man only join the fight because they're affected by the Accords and forced to register, and that doesn't sound like it's the case.

Going off of memory, no one is "forced" to join. Both were recruited and were privileged they were even asked to join a team, that they couldn't say no.

That's not it. It's a long fight and we see some of the brutality in the trailers. When Bucky tries to rip out his reactor Tony blows his arm off and he's down.

As the fight continues Friday tells Tony that close hand to hand combat in this enclosed area is playing into Steve's strengths (we can see this in Steve's speed and his use of the shield to deflect the repulsors and to smash the armor) and Tony asks Friday to analyze Steve's fight patterns which she does and the tide begins to turn before it turns back the other way even as Steve is badly beaten because it's Steve and he won't give up or stay down (which is his biggest super power)

So lemme get this strait, if we proportion this to the comics, MCU cap is basically a 80-100 tonner?

How's the "He's my friend" "So was I" moment? Is it emotional?

Extremely. Particularly crushing because we just saw WS brutally murder Tony's parents - one of whom was also Steve's friend. Tony is angry and devastated and Steve is horrified by what he sees and also guilty that he didn't tell Tony they'd been murdered even if he didn't know it was done by WS though it was possible.

Also up until this point while they were on opposite sides and there was frustration there wasn't hatred and they were even trying to get on the same page together and even while Tony was trying to bring Steve in he'd been trying to protect him from Ross.

War Machine has flown around carrying a tank. He mentions it as a cool War Machine story in AOU. And you just know that Stark keeps the best tech for his own armor.
