Bingo.

Tony was already acting pretty forgiving about the trying to shoot him the face while brainwashed incident. That video of his parents murders that was so brutal what other human reaction could there be? Tony is not the Dalai lama. Even Steve Rogers might have snapped if there was video of Bucky strangling his beloved mother to death.

T'Challa was out for blood after his father was killed for more than half the movie and that was only tempered when he realized his rage would have caused him to kill the wrong man.

Thanks for your explaination.

The MCU is not the comics and I wish people would fully understand that. Her power can be whatever the powers that be want them to be.

Also, Tony is fully justified in his rage. I don't see how that's debatable honestly. I wasn't Team Iron Man but you do have to feel for Tony because what he thought was true was not and a person who was his friend knew and didn't tell him. That was not a good move by Cap.

Okay. You have a point.

I have to say, I really like how they made RDJ young again in that opening hologram scene when he's speaking to the university students.

How did they did that? Was that really RDJ?

And how did Tony knows the secret identity of Spiderman?? Movie never bothers to explain that.

Just watched it. Loved it of course. Can't wait to see it again to focus in on the more smaller details. I loved Black Panther. Am so excited for his movie. I also loved Spider Man. He's not my fav hero and I've never really dug the Spider Man movies so I'm looking forward to his solo movie. I will say that i felt a little bad for him. Tony to me anyway used him in a way that wasn't very fair. And the kid being young and naive was to me a bit wrong on Tony's part to just use him like that to have a bit of extra muscle in his team.

I'm also bummed Sharon didn't play a bigger role. She really should have if you ask me. They built up something good between her and Cap in this one and I wish she was on his team. I know she probably couldn't do too much but it would've been nice to see her a bit more.

Does Bucky's personality seem different than the original First Avengers movie, In that one he comes off a bit of an easy going personality. Is he more grumpy/grouchy in this one? For some reason, and its been along time for me but the comic version of Bucky always came across a bit surly at least to me from what i am remembering.

I have to say what's up with the font size being so big and plastered across the screen?? Does a 12 years old did this?

I swear this is the first time that I watched a movie with a font size literally covering the entire screen.

Example: The word "Berlin". They could have just use a font size 12 and put it in the middle bottom of the screen.

Instead, they made the word so big that it covers almost all the screen.

This is the same with the font of other cities too. Ridiculous.

The font appeared for a few seconds. Don't think it blocked any action or scenes from what I remember.

Cgi, just like anytime else they aged or de-aged someone

The big location/year fonts basically were just for establishing shots, never blocking the action.

He's not at all like First Avengers or TWS Flashback Bucky. The swaggering, good humored, easy going Bucky is gone. (I miss that Bucky) He's mostly grouchy, mopey and depressed now when not fighting like a berserker. Though we had a flash of humor in that kiss scene.

I don't mind a grouchier Bucky but with a sense of humor. IF he eventually becomes more frequent in the scheme of the MCU I am guessing he will be similar to the Wolverine of the franchise. Everyone else so far is fairly easy going.

I really enjoyed bucky more with sam than with steve

Bucky will no longer be that guy from TFA..he remember all the guys he kills even when his winter soldier kill mode is off. He carry so much guilt with him..it is no wonder he is depressed all the time

I think that's mostly because of Sam and his jokes (he was even poking fun at T'Challa :woot: ) and I also liked the friendship between Steve and Sam more. Bucky really didn't say much with either though - he didn't say much period.

Do you remember when it specifically happens? I honestly cant remember who caused those explosions.

I think it was Vision because I remember thinking for all his talk about the escalating of casualties and damage and why the Avengers need to be reigned in he's the one blowing up stuff.

Hmm really? Damn I don't remember that. The only things I remember Vision doing during the fight was stopping Caps team from advancing by marking the ground, defending black panther from Giant Man, knocking Giant Man over, phasing through him and destroying the tower (and destroying Rhodey lol). Did I like miss a really big part lmao?

I think destroying the tower was a big part of things blowing up but Giant Man may have added to the mayhem. There was a lot going on - I may have to watch it another dozen times or so. :woot:

True haha, I honestly can't even remember if any fighting happened right before Spidey took caps shield either (simply because I was super hyped by that moment). I probably just missed it just cause it was so much to soak in.

Giant Man only wrecks some planes as far as I remember, but there is a lot going on so I agree that there's a good risk of forgetting things.

Vision also destroys the entrance to the hangar which Scarlet Witch held up with her powers.

So is the whole Project Insight thing from TWS addressed in any detail, because that should be an important factor here?

Also is Tony aware of Bucky's brainwashing by HYDRA (I presume that, if he does, then he just doesn't care and wants payback anyway)?
