I would like to thank Kingnerd for posting all of these spoilers for us. With the exception of Rhodey being a victim of the "Rule of 3" (at least they didn't kill him, but it still sucks that they crippled him), this movie sounds great.

I wouldn't even say it's a "Rule of 3" thing. They've consistently treated Rhodey as a joke in the MCU. They should have just killed him off, it'd be an act of mercy at this point.

Umm, Vision hijacked Tony's armor, he was frozen. That's the only reason why he was able to win.

I have news for you, Cap has beaten a whooooooole lot of super-powered dudes that are far more powerful than him without The Vision's help.

They could potentially use him in the future. I'm sure Stark has the resources to manufacture some sort of implants to help Rhodey back on his feet or something high-tech like that.

Still, sucks. And you are right, the cinematic James Rhodes has been a walking punch-line for majority of his film appearances. Sucks, because I am a fan of the character in the comics.

I'd allso like to add that Tony was winning prior to Vision virus because he was smart enough to program all of Cap's moves into his armor thus allowing him to counter ALL of them.

I don't see that at all. Thor and Hulk can handily beat Captain America, but Iron Man just doesn't have the right power set nor the nigh-invulnerability to defeat Cap easily.

He does tho. Tony could easily stay in the air, throw a Jericho in Steve's general vicinity and blow him to pieces. All without breaking a sweat, if he really wanted to.

Can I ask does Steve and Tony ends in good terms? I read that steve won that fight, and teamcap all left to Wakanda, but didn't see anything about what happened in between, what was the ending of the movie?

I just assumed that Rhodey would be back after Tony rigs his suit to allow him to fly anyway. It isn't like he technically needs his legs. It would give Tony something to do during the end of this movie and Infinity War.

I feel like Marvel has dropped the ball with the love interests. Betty Ross never reappeared, Pepper was noticeably missing in AoU and now in this and Jane is gone from the franchise as well.

I haven't seen it obviously, but from reading what KingDork has to say, Tony has just

A) Been guilt tripped by a dead guy's mother about his choices
B) on a break with Pepper
C) Watched Rhodey get seriously injured and
D) Learned Steve knew Bucky killed his parents and still sided with him.

That's a lot going on in Tony's mind, even for a genius. While I don't think it's a stretch for Steve to out fight Tony, Tony's not going to be on his A game with all that weighing on him.
