I'm at least half serious about this, but they should just hire him a "personal assistant" who has to sign a million NDAs with the understanding that she's basically his mistress and his sexual outlet. Like Shae and Tyrion on Game Of Thrones. Better that than for Bill to act out of sexual frustration, which would be worse for the president.

I was always against the war, it's one of the reasons why I voted for Obama in 2008 because he had opposed it. I felt they rushed into it as well. As to your point about US power in the UN I can counter that with China and Russia's power as well. The UN had established that there were consequences if Iraq continued to be a bad actor on the world stage. They did and the U.N. failed to provide those consequences time and time again because of Russian and China's self interest. Those previous resolutions provided a legal justification for the U.S. to act.

After all, that's exactly what Congress approved



If Bush is guilty then so is HRC, so is John Kerry, so is Biden, so is Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer.

People forget that Iraq had attempted to build nuclear reactors in the past and were bombed in the past in 1981. After the Persian Gulf War we found Iraq was building towards creating nuclear weapons and destroyed the material and the facilities. It's not like these fears came from thin air, it was time after time after time of Iraq violating agreements. Had Iraq allowed the weapons inspectors to do their job and complied with UN Resolutions things may have been different, but they didn't.

American Courts only issue with what happened in Abu Ghraib was that it did not have Congressional approval.

The ICC hasn't ruled it a war of aggression that is false statement. They say there is no clear definition of what a war of aggression is and thus cannot rule on whether it was or wasn't.

Yes, all these people are committing crimes, though none on the scale of the Bush administration. You and I are clearly not going to agree on the legality of the war, but surely you have to acknowledge the corruption. Halliburton getting no bid contracts in Iraq, I think some of those investigations are still ongoing. Look up Bunnatine Greenhouse in your spare time. She was the Amy Corps of Engineer's chief contracting officer.

What about on the domestic front? Plamegate, Lawyergate, 22 million emails deleted (eat your heart out Hillary Clinton), Jack Abramoff. Just Jack Abramoff.

But if you don't think that ridiculous war and all the crimes that followed was a sign of corruption, I don't really think we can agree on anything.

FBI investigated Halliburton's no bid contracts and found that there was no criminal wrongdoing as no bid contracts are allowed under certain conditions and those conditions were met. Just because someone alleges something doesn't make it true.

The firing of attorneys was investigated by the FBI and there was no criminal wrongdoing found.

What they did to Valerie Plame was absolutely wrong and wrongdoing was found.


Jack Abramoff donated $100,000 to the Bush campaign and some of his people received positions in the administration...as wrong as this is. This happens all the time. Many top Obama donors were given cushy jobs in the administration.

Black Sites were a legal grey area in which the UN had to add to make a new ruling on them

I remember Chelsea Manning, half the stuff she leaked was about the state department cables under Hillary Clinton. I imagine you are talking about the video of collateral killings? I remember that and unfortunately that's what happens in war. War is ugly, mistakes are made and when they are they are beyond catastrophic. I was honestly surprised by the uproar about it. I remember thinking what do people think happens in wars? It's chaotic and it's a mess especially when you are fighting people who use guerilla warfare. It's a reason why war should be a last resort.

Here's the problem is the left has lost faith in institutions even though most of the things you bring up have been investigated and no wrong doing was found or changes to the law have been made to prevent it from happening again. Every President is going to attempt to push the limits of it's offices power. That's why the system of checks and balances are in place. That's why the Supreme Court ruled that they needed Congressional approval, there's congressional oversight. If anything we are seeing the system work.

Well, you keep bringing up allegations and acting as they are absolute facts even after investigations found no criminal wrongdoing. It's like the Trump supporters saying Hillary is guilty when there have been investigations and there has been no criminal wrong doing found.

Well, for once the Trump supporters aren't wrong. Just because no one gets prosecuted doesn't mean that there haven't been gross abuses of power.
 
Clinton camp warning about a big wikileaks drop. Claims it is fake. If the drop comes from gmail, it's impossible to fake with a verifiable DKIM.

To be honest Trump was already gaining ground before the FBI thing. In general Trumps numbers drop after he does something stupid(Trump leaners say they undecided) but they come back up after a week or so(those undecided go back to trump Leaners)

I think those emails hurt Senate races for Dems more then Hillary, in the case of the general election I think it would have made a very slight difference
