The Clinton Thread II

I prefer the "bought and paid for" label as they just happen to employ people who can parrot those views.

Highlights of this year:
-CNN's "clever" editing in relation to the Milwaukee riot, covering Kaepernick's stance on BLM far more than his stance on Hillary, and that censorship of a baby saving Trump supporter.

-MSNBC being trolled with racism: that one Black Trump supporter and that KFC ad.

-Recall both MSNBC and CNN having a laughable time bringing up Hillary's emails or any proven past transgression.

-PBS News Hour, I posted a few pages ago.

-Fox News, everyone here knows all too well.

-The Trump and Hillary supporters/"surrogates" that show up to debate on any station are always a delight (either embarrassing themselves or the interviewers/reporters)

You really have a lot of time on your hands don't you?

Unfortunately. Though, I found most of those through these youtube channels I'm subbed to.

Been quite some time since I bothered looking at any of the big news network. They've been jokes and obsolete for a long time. I like the discourse here since it forces me to get outside of my pre-conceived notions and try to think critically. Have a few sites I go to that are fairly non-biased and then I have my bias sites I like as well.

Honestly, though, I'm in my 30's now and the cynicism is setting in. I really stopped caring about this election a few months ago. In the sense that I would try to change someone's mind in the real world kind of thing. I'll argue on the forums until the cows come home haha.

The great thing about this election is that you don't have to bother defending one candidate over the other, because they both suck and the American people agree. It's a "wait and see" situation if there ever was one.

Put Pennywise on the ballot.

Actually it seems more like a "Hope both of them fall into comas before November" situation to me.

I didn't want to be that blunt, but yeah.

Don't worry, you've still got plausible deniability :hehe:

You know things are bad when Mitt Romney and even GW Bush look like outstanding options compared to the current republican candidate

I'm not sure who to compare Hillary to in the democrat's history of candidates since the usually seem decent enough, although Obama has been soft on several issues.

How embarrassing if it is true. Even Nixon is covering his face.

If it's a hearing aid, then it's nothing.

If it's a receiver (as has been suspected) so that she can be fed help in answering questions or in answering questions with prepared statements, that's something else entirely. I mean, she can't even get through a Presidential forum without help?

Again, if it's a receiver and not a hearing aid . . .

The Trump fans are trying to claim that she had an earpiece feeding her answers. I guess that is their way of admitting that Clinton did better than Trump. "Look she has an earpiece!! She only won because she cheated!!"

And the Hillary fans are trying to claim Laurer was showing favoritism to Trump with his line of questions. Hilarious!

She needs to get back on-message and leave the sociologist talk to someone else. It doesn't win you any points even if you are totally correct.

That's my advice to all candidates for president. At least wait until the voting is over.

Its not wrong, polls have shown that Trump supporters are far more likely to have negative attitudes towards blacks.

And here is the full bit she said.

I know there are only 60 days left to make our case — and don’t get complacent, don’t see the latest outrageous, offensive, inappropriate comment and think well he’s done this time. We are living in a volatile political environment. You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people — now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks — they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America. But the other basket — and I know this because I see friends from all over America here — I see friends from Florida and Georgia and South Carolina and Texas, as well as, you know, New York and California — but that other basket of people are people who feel that the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they’re just desperate for change. It doesn’t really even matter where it comes from. They don’t buy everything he says, but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different. They won’t wake up and see their jobs disappear, lose a kid to heroin, feel like they’re in a dead-end. Those are people we have to understand and empathize with, as well.

She is just "telling it like it is".

Let's not shed a tear for Trump's worst supporters, chances are if they see this guy as their messiah they're ****ty human beings.

Even if she's right, writing off so many millions of people as deplorable human beings while running for President is a remarkably stupid move, especially doing it all smug in front of a bunch of rich fat cats and shills. She already has a huge trust/likability problem.

Call me funny but something tells me that when you have a camera and a teleprompter, that this was planned by her campaign team. I am guessing she will be more then happy to explain her comments(unlike Romney) and avoid talking about emails. She probably will just point to 50% of the 14M who voted for Trump in the Primary or even less people that show up at the rallies

Given how terrible she and her team are at campaigning for President, this wouldn't surprise me.
