The Clinton Thread II

There is a difference between "containing" classified information, and being marked classified. Most of those that contained classified information were retroactively deemed as containing classified information. The highest level is Top Secret, but if it is not labeled as such, then there is a problem, and not just with her personal email.

You may say that there isn't a difference, but in a court of law, there is....

I don't know what you are trying to say here. That link you posted was only discussing the emails the FBI were able to recover that were deleted, a fairly small amount of the 30,000 emails Clinton directed her Attorneys to delete.

The highest clearance is TS/SCI which were clearly found in the emails turned over to the FBI.

Don't assume that just because someone is overly critical of Hillary that they like Trump, will vote for Trump, or anything of the sort. Not a chance in hell. We lowered the bar and our standards this year, that's the problem.

You are correct in your assumptions about him. He turned the GOP into a freak show. I'm sick of hearing his name. She does not deserve a free pass for her incompetence or her lack of accountability.

In regards to her coldness. Have not taken a good long look at her? She's creepy.
You can see right through that facade.

I'm not voting for either. I won't be responsible for either of them. What a mess we find ourselves in.

Its official, Bernie Sanders is endorsing Hillary Clinton as we speak.

Somewhere right now, theres a group of Young Turks crying.

The enema of my enema.

I'm curious if the BernOuts will now turn on Bernie Sanders like they did with Elizabeth Warren.

Pretty sure this is the result of a BvS moment had between Bernie and Hillary, because both their mothers have the name Dorothy.

Hillary in her normal talking voice: WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!?!?!.

Jill Stein is still running.

"No refunds" :funny:

I imagine this will help him get more of his stuff onto the Dems platform than if he had tried an independent run.

Now THAT is interesting. The Clinton campaign had a shortlist. Perez, Kaine, Brown, (possibly) Castro, and Warren (for show, I doubt she was ever seriously under consideration). Why suddenly start vetting others, when you have a shortlist? Unless the shortlist vetted did not make the cut.

I'm guessing Perez and Castro were cut (if they were) due to liabilities that they bring to the campaign. Perez is just kind of a "who?" type of pick, plus he comes with quite a bit of baggage due to past statements and actions. Castro would be a detriment to the ticket due to his total lack of experience of any sort.

Brown probably didn't make the cut because the Ohio Senate seat is looking more and more important.

So what did she find on Kaine (who wants it badly) that took him out of the running? Is it the gift scandal? All of the gifts were legal. It looks excessive but it isn't illegal. So what skeletons does he have, I wonder?

Granted, it could be completely reactionary to Trump vetting General Michael Flynn. Clinton is definitely waiting until after Trump decides to make her pick. She may just want a contingency in place for every possibility. But countering a General with an Admiral seems so very transparent and politically motivated. Clinton cannot think that is wise. So that makes me really think that this is because she is dissatisfied with the shortlist.

It wouldn't surprise me if other names start coming up. I would not be surprised at all if we hear rumors of Clinton vetting Senator Martin Heinrich of New Mexico.

Wouldn't that help Clinton win back some of the public's goodwill after the email thing?

Oh, I think someone who is perceived as a political outsider would definitely help Clinton's campaign. Just as Obama needed someone with real experience to balance his inexperience, Clinton needs someone who sheds her image of a corrupt insider politician. I am truly surprised she has not vetted any leaders of industry or military leaders prior to this.

Good for her. It would be professionally unethical for any prosecutor to comment on a case beyond that which is in the public record (which, her office's deliberations on it, are not). Beyond that, it would reinforce what is already bad behavior from Congress. Using subpoena power to lecture the Executive on how they are carrying out their Constitutionally mandated role is already walking the line of separation of powers. Answering to them for executing her role as a member of the Executive branch would shatter the line.

A glimpse into the future.

Hillary needs to do something about her speeches. Comparing a gang to a family was pretty cringeworthy. I don't want to see any stupid comments like that coming off the email thing. Now's not the time for those kind of gaffes.

Are we going to be plagued by top heavy flag poles?

You should meet my family. We make the gangs look like the Brady's.:o

Clinton is predictable. She wont pick any VP that will be outside the box which is what she needs. Do the exact opposite of the loser dems advisors. Trump sailed to the top because of his unorthodox candidacy. Warren would be great but she wont pick her. Dems focus test way to much which is why they end up losing .

Then how come Obama won, if they end up losing like you say?

He won because of a superb ground game and putting together a strong coalition. Let's not forget that a big factor was George W Bush and how the economy had tanked on his and the republicans watch
