No, because Hillary is smart enough to realize who Trump was really pandering too. Whites who don't want to support a racist.

I heard/read that one as well.
Truly relieved both campaigns are playing the same ball game. :cwink:

I'd at least respect her attempt to get a "meme" going for the queen she is :o

Wikipedia can barely define this "alt-right" group whilst stringing together all the same ol' bad -isms thrown out by "various sources".
The other definition is a blog.

She's talking about the vague conservative boogeymen and continuing the tried and tested rhetoric. Only this time, they have a name! and she's outright pandering to the "good" Republicans. Did she somehow realize Trump's pandering to blacks was problematic for her chances?

The difference is the people she is talking about actually exist within the party. The primary season and the whole Trump campaign has shined a spotlight on that subsection of the GOP.

And no Trump's pandering to blacks hasn't helped him or hurt her so there is no reason to think she would consider his pandering would be problematic for her.

You have seen who is running his campaign, right?

Like I said she merely found a name, so now every single bad Republican/conservative could just be labeled as such regardless of actual affiliation to such a scattered group. She happened to name the "good" Republicans, so if people follow those guys, they know who to vote *wink wink nudge nudge*.

"The people she is talking about" exist in the Democratic party as well and I'm not talking back when the Democrats were Republicans. She has gotten both KKK support and considers Robert Byrd her "friend and mentor".

And no Trump's pandering to blacks hasn't helped him or hurt her so there is no reason to think she would consider his pandering would be problematic for her.
This seemed to be a reaction to both that and being called a bigot. She stoops to his level each and every time.

You have seen who is running his campaign, right?
What else must I learn about Stephen Bannon?

You do know that Byrd later denounced the KKK, right?

As for Bannon, well, you just need to look at some the headlines at Breitbart.

This is from the NAACP site

NAACP Mourns the Passing of U.S. Senator Robert Byrd

WASHINGTON, DC - The NAACP is saddened by the passing of United States Senator Robert Byrd. Byrd, the longest serving member of congress was first elected to the U.S. House from in 1952 and was elected Senator in 1958. Byrd passed away this morning at the age of 92.

"Senator Byrd reflects the transformative power of this nation," stated NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous. "Senator Byrd went from being an active member of the KKK to a being a stalwart supporter of the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and many other pieces of seminal legislation that advanced the civil rights and liberties of our country.

"Senator Byrd came to consistently support the NAACP civil rights agenda, doing well on the NAACP Annual Civil Rights Report Card. He stood with us on many issues of crucial importance to our members from the reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act, the historic health care legislation of 2010 and his support for the Hate Crimes Prevention legislation," stated Hilary O. Shelton, Director of the NAACP Washington Bureau and Senior Vice President for Advocacy and Policy. "Senator Byrd was a master of the Senate Rules, and helped strategize passage of legislation that helped millions of Americans. He will be sorely missed."

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. Its members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities, conducting voter mobilization and monitoring equal opportunity in the public and private sectors.

You do know that Byrd later denounced the KKK, right?
How convenient.
As for Bannon, well, you just need to look at some the headlines at Breitbart.
You just need to know who's responsible for those headlines. :oldrazz:
I've been to the site a couple of times and it definitely knows the art of click-bait. You have the right observation if you notice how hipster/"4chan"-ish that site is, occasionally putting together their own "buzzfeed" style editorials.

Do you have a source to back up that claim?

Will Quigg.

The problem is no-one actually believes him.

The KKK leader who says he backs Hillary Clinton

“We want Hillary Clinton to win,” Mr Quigg told The Telegraph. “She is telling everybody one thing, but she has a hidden agenda. She’s telling everybody what they want to hear so she can get elected, because she’s Bill Clinton’s wife, she’s close to the Bushes. [But] once she’s in the presidency, she’s going to come out and her true colours are going to show.

“Border policies are going to be put in place. Our second amendment rights [favouring gun ownership] that she’s saying she’s against now, she’s not against. She’s just our choice for the presidency.”

Mr Quigg’s declaration of allegiance to Mrs Clinton sounds unconvincing - and contradicts earlier statements.

Last year, he sent a tweet to Mr Trump reading: “@realDonaldTrump. You Sir are the only hope we have of getting WHITE AMERICA BACK! We all will be voting for you!”

...

He was unwilling to disclose how he learned of Mrs Clinton’s “hidden agenda”.
“I cannot reveal my sources,” he said. “It’s my opinion - if you know what I mean, wink, wink. I don’t want her to come back and say I’m slandering her.”

...

The holocaust, Mr Quigg argued, did not happen as generally accepted, with six million Jews murdered. Instead, Nazi concentration camps had swimming pools for their inmates, who were given days off “to allow the men to have sex with their wives”.

Those toxic views were voiced after the grand dragon revealed, on close questioning, that his opinions on Muslims and Mexican immigrants differed little from some of the most bitterly criticised statements made by Mr Trump. Mr Quigg warmly endorsed the Republican candidate’s plan to ban Muslims from the US and to expel 11 million illegal immigrants.

Asked why he was not therefore supporting Mr Trump, Mr Quigg replied: “We don’t like his hair. We think it’s a toupee. He won’t do what he says he will do. He says he’s going to build a 20-foot high fence along with border with Mexico and make them pay. How’s he going to do that?”

Prof Levin, a former New York police officer, was sceptical of Mr Quigg’s renunciation. “Based on his past statements, it doesn’t appear highly credible that he has changed his effusive allegiance to Donald Trump,” he said. “The timing seems suspect. I think this is a function of not wanting to undermine the Trump campaign.”

Yeah, that endorsement is a total conspiracy theory. Not the most convincing of arguments.

Well, "no one" is an understatement. I had a hunch something was off.

But hey, glad to be stand corrected.
One less "guilt by association" for Hillary in a sea of others that we have gone over.

Orba, one more conspiracy theory to go over => her 2008 Arkansas "heritage not hate"

I'm still far more worried by who outright stated support and who could end up supporting her because they either reflect her policies or her lack of concern for active wrongdoing.

Damn they cut out everything TPP related. :tmm:

I read where Bill suggested using the Syrian refugees to get Detroit's rundown neighborhoods back on their feet. Its funny because I'd be thinking of something similar too.

Detroit's doing just fine getting back on it's feet at the moment, although I'm not sure how an influx of people with below poverty level incomes is going to help those neighborhoods?

But I was told by people on here that she didn't send classified documents over her unsecured email!? My life is a lie.

Also, pretty fudging scary that a private citizen is conducting foreign business on behalf of the US.

I'm pretty sure that Matt told you it wasn't prosecutable what she did, not that she didn't do it. There is a difference.

It sounds like she ended up doing other things that are prosecutable instead & lied about it under oath at that

I'd ask for a more credible source than the NY Post, but it seems he's been banned.

Can anyone explain why Hillary is so "untrustworthy" and "incompetent"? Please don't bring up the e-mails thing, her evolving stance on issues or the Clinton foundation. Is it something that's tangible or is it due to her gender/husband's history at the White House?

And something that's not a partisan site like Mother Jones, New York Daily Post, or Breitbart.
