Can anyone explain why Hillary is so "untrustworthy" and "incompetent"? Please don't bring up the e-mails thing, her evolving stance on issues or the Clinton foundation. Is it something that's tangible or is it due to her gender/husband's history at the White House?

And something that's not a partisan site like Mother Jones, New York Daily Post, or Breitbart.

Because the GOP has been pushing a smear campaign since 2008 knowing full well she'd run this year.

Her gender has nothing to do with her being corrupt and untrustworthy. Being a woman does not make Clinton immune from criticism either, nor does said criticism of Clinton make me a woman hater. If anything, she should be grilled harder than she is.

I get the e-mails complaint to a degree, but the GOP is trying to stoke a fire that isn't there. Most of the Foundation donors seeking favors and/or meetings were rebuffed, and there's no tangible proof (yet) of conflict of interest between the Foundation and its donors.

There's nothing hypocritical about Clinton like Trump spewing anti-immigrant hate but hiring undocumented models for slave labor. Or him claiming to create American jobs when all of his clothes are made outside the U.S.. Where's the equivalent for Hillary? Conservatives say she 'stole' $6 billion, when that was due to bad paperwork. I'm not voting for her because she's a woman, but because she is the most qualified candidate. She's not going to turn the world into a global apocalyptic wasteland due to a mean Tweet, or sully America's name by insulting world leaders.

Throughout the decades, she has been subjected to countless GOP witch hunts due to her gender and affiliation -- and that was before she decided to run for the Oval Office.

You can research for yourself and rationalize which of the many "Gates" and scandals are justified or not.
Hillary and Bill are a package deal like "Bonnie and Clyde".

That's because she doesn't need a mean tweet to turn the world into a global apocalyptic wasteland (also, what????) and instead of insulting world leaders (if she's not utilizing subtle insults) she's bound to sully America's name by charming them ~ "doing favors"/rack up those scandals.

It's been over 260 days without Clinton having a press conference. Her media statements are really short, too. And in her recent one, she dodged questions and instead offered the reporters chocolates. And they just go along with that? I mean....really?

If they give non-scripted questions she may have another one of those 'short circuits'.

The FBI has also admitted Clinton used software designed to prevent recovery and hide traces of deleted emails. But we're meant to believe she only deleted innocuous messages. Right.

She's still not Trump. That's the only important thing here, or at least to my libertarian pragmatist's eye. That said, my biggest concern with Hillary isn't this presser stuff. Rather its the sabre-rattling at Russia over the DNC stuff. My own philosophy is, get your messes together and fix them; in this case, get your security systems up to snuff rather than avoiding the problem. Sabre-rattling at Russia when you have these horrid images of people caught in the middle of the wars coming out of Syria - that's the bigger concern imo.

I don't want to see more of that on our watch.

I wouldn't be worried about it. I don't think Trump had the best approval rating in the Rep primaries - and look at where their party is now. Look at how much approval Bernie had - and look at where he is now.

I think a problem is a lot Republicans think people support Hiliary because they think she is a great candidate. Some of her supporters may think that, but most think she is the lesser of two evils, it would take a huge smoking gun to convince a lot people that Trump is better then Hiliary and Republicans don't have that huge smoking gun.

The problem with the 2 party system is the GOP decided to loose its mind this election and don't want to act like a responsible opposition party. Thus there is no one holding Hiliary responsible on a lot of important policy issues. The GOP is crying wolf too much, they try to demonize Clinton so much, that its easy to ignore them, which means its easier for her to get away with shady stuff.

People do need to distinguish between demonizing and demanding that Clinton be held accountable for her actions, that's how democracy works. While there might be undue focus on certain irrelevant things she's done some of her conduct is not exactly as honest and forthcoming as she should.
