If Jean Grey emerges from the wreck of the space shuttle in Jamaica Bay as the Phoenix, should she be fully clothed in her Phoenix costume already? Where did it come from suddenly when she was wearing something else before?

We dont even know if that scene will be in the movie. I doubt they are even taking it in that direction, I dont even see them doing the space shuttle thing. I just want something different when he goes dark and I would really love the green and gold when she is basic Phoenix, point blank.

Maybe they'll make Mystique be the one to gain the power of the Dark Phoenix instead of Jean Grey. That way if she suddenly emerges with a Phoenix costume, it will simply be down to her having shape shifted. Plus Fox probably would prefer to use Jennifer Lawrence as the main star than Sophie Turner.

I just find it funny that fans are probably more obsessed with mystique than what they claim the studio is.

Admittedly some of it is just joking around but its hard to tell anymore.

Not that it matters, but talking about costumes, did we ever get any in-film explanation as to who created the suits we got at the end of Apocalypse or should we just assume it was Beast? Given that he designed the flight suits from First Class.

I'm no fan of her in this series at all and actually wish she wasn't in it or at least has a very minimal role, but I have to agree that the jokes/hate are getting stale at this point. Lol

She's literally a topic of the discussion in the top 4 topics in the forum. Can't we just not talk about her in the hopes that she'll disappear? Lol

Jean's costume is actually pretty solid. I think it's my fave out of the ending uniforms. I wish we saw more of it.

Unfortunately with the materials used, it looked cheap.

Hoping for a costume designer that made better use of the big budget. Other franchises have done more for a lot less.

its curious, I loved Jean costume the most, followed by Cycs.
I get the yellow material on Jean's costume is weird, bright material, dont really get it. FC suits yellow material was pretty fine.

Storm and Quicksilver were the worst by far. the opposite of stylized. Those thick lines, overall design and colours... horrible

Looks cheap has nothing to do with price tag.

The suits were ugly. I get the "cheap" description, though maybe moreso in design than the materials used. They're busy and blocky, with plastic looking armour pieces glued on. Cobbled together, they look more like an eccentric paint ball team than superheroes.

Cyclops looked pretty good though. I liked his costume well enough.
