Wow, so this is hanging in past TDK level, and heading towards Black Panther and Spider-Verse levels...?! Amazing!
It's not really hanging past TDK RT, but at this point it's gonna end up in like top 5 on RT, which is amazing consider Endgame's type of film.

All i know is that we're living in a golden age for the genre. Yeah we'll still get a stinker once in a while but what really matters is that what has been great has been truly out of this world, whether it's the MCU, WB, Fox, or even now Sony with Into the Spiderverse. I didn't even see Endgame being close to the 90s. This is awesome.

Here's hoping the audience score doesn't go under 80% like Black Panther's score did.

97% with 8.74. It's criminal that Spider-Verse wasn't nominated for Best Picture in Oscar 2019
Yeah...and as I've always said, in 10 years, the best picture nominees will probably bot even be on anyone's "must-see" list...but Spider-Verse will still be talked about. That's usually the case with the films the Academy loves, though. I don't put much stock in their opinions. They dislike comic films, and it shows.

This is a guy who regards Snyder's DC films as masterpieces.

That tells you all you need to know.

People can have different opinions, not everyone thinks same way. Would his opinion would have been more valid to you had it aligned with the majority ?

It's holding up very well. It started better than expected and has endured better too.

So happy to see Endgame is winning over the critics. I've been off YouTube for the past week and so far I've done a good job of not getting hit with spoilers. Hopefully I'll be able to see this on Saturday!

I certainly think so. It was definitely one of the best movies last year and deserved a crack at the best picture award.

Sure people can have different opinions I don’t read anything in his response that gives the impression that he has no credibility because his opinion is different. In fact he’s pretty clear as to why he thinks one should take that posters opinion w/a grain of salt and it was solely based on that poster believing all of Snyder’s work w/DC was a masterpiece.

I can tell you from my perspective if I have that knowledge (someone loving all of Snyder’s DC work) then they instantly lose all credibility w/me too. And that’s not to say they are wrong or I’m right, it’s all opinions after all. That has more to do w/the fact we just see things differently.

In fact I do the same thing w/critics—a lot of us do. You look to see how they reviewed movies you loved and hated and those that are more aligned with your views have more weight and credibility in your eyes when they give their opinions.

Don’t see anything at all wrong w/that.

Russos got an incredible track record but damn! These are really high marks especially for type of undertaking it is... So much for the worry about the Campea tweet. lol. I held firm all along that he was really only one dude with one opinion, which I respect BTW, in a sea of early adulation.
