Some fansites are saying that the scene in the new trailer where Superman is struck by a can differs slightly from the teaser in that it doesn't show him blinking as the can hits his head.

Again, the most unrealistic thing about the movie. No modern journalist would be that hard hitting and fact check during their interviews.

Also funny that Supes really thought that Lois would take it easy on him, she asked him if he was sure. Silly rabbit.

i actually like that the movie seems to touch upon some themes that Snyder tried to explore in BVS... but does it better.

And the trailer shows that you can take Superman seriously, without losing the fun of it or have the character lose his very character and personality.

Which isn't suprising as a fan. Even outside of comics, the animated series struck a wonderful balance of having a modern Superman without losing the essence.

Also, with one line Hoult's Lex conveys his hatred for Superman more than Jesse Eisenberg 's could with endless monologues about red capes, Gods, Devils, and a piss of jar.

And I'm sorry for brining up comparisons once again. I don't even hate Snyder's movies, but it's sweet to shove it up people's noses after having endured their endless spam and insane takes for years.

And most important, it's great to see SUPERMAN back on the big screen!!

Gunn seems to have nailed this. And I had no doubts about his abilities to do so.

Sarcasm noted and what you say is (sadly) very true, especially when it comes to the legacy media that gave us "truths" such as Iraq's weapons of mass destruction or Russia gate or COVID is from nature not a lab or Joe Biden is mentally as sharp as a knife or the Vaccine is 100% effective or Israel is NOT committing genocide and posting it on tic-tok.
Is it no wonder that the likes of CNN, MSMBC, NY times and the Washington post are all heading the way of the dinosaurs and good riddance I say.
If Lois and Clark really existed they wouldn't be working at the Daily Planet, they would totally go independent, kinda like what Clark did in the New 52

Hit all the right notes for me. L&C, the score, the action, Lex.
Has shown me more than enough, without really showing that much, I'd be happy going into the film without seeing anything else.

Yeah, it would be nice if this was the final trailer, or if future ones were mere varitions of this one.

Past the first full trailer, things always get too spoilery for my taste.

I enjoy watching certain reaction channels. This one I think perfectly encapsulates reactions of those who were trepidatious about Superman.

I saw some reaction videos too.
Mario Robles & The Geek of Steel and the one from Hector Navarro & Adam Kavlac.
I was surprised by how emotional Mario & The Geek of Steel both got - when the Williams score kicked in especially.

Everything looks so good. The interview scene was a terrific opener for the trailer and just by that scene, you can tell we’re getting something different this time. All the character interactions look great and Superman himself looks to be the best part of the film.

I doubt it. The settings he's seen in don't really fit the President, and I don't think he would be able to do all the things he seems to be doing in this movie if he were President. That was just trailer editing I think - I mean, they cut to Rick Flag when she said the Secretary of Defense, and I really don't think he's the Secretary of Defense in this flick either. I wouldn't be surprised if Lex were gearing up to RUN for President though.

I doubt he is president either, but, I'm gonna guess at the end of Superman, Lex worms his way out of any legal trouble by already having layed a trap for someone else to take the fall, And Lex will then announce he's running for president.

I do wish she was in silver. Looks a little less generic. Her outfit effect kind of reminds me of the future sentinels

Mid is a good way to put it. Kind of reminded me of the mediocre Black Widow trailers. I know the CGI isn't finished but it reminds me of some of the wonky CGI in Black Panther because Di$ney moved the artists to Endgame.

Superman looks much better in that regard.

I still dont understand why him blinking is even a thing. I used to teach kids karate...they punched me all the time and it never phased me but I might still blink.

People look for the dumbest things to whine about.
