Seeing both Kents alive and well is perfectly timed as I’m about to start my Lois & Clark rewatch. I will always prefer both Kents living since that was the status quo I grew up with and in that show in particular, they brought SO MUCH humanity and humor to the table. Glad to finally see that in a cinematic version. I adore those Kents.
First season was actually fun, the cast was perfectly cast and Clark's portrayal in the pilot episode was spot on, too bad Dean Cain was awful as Superman, he didn't have the acting chops or the charisma not to mention that coming directly after Chris Reeve didn't exactly help his case.
Speaking of Lois I just read fallout and you should check it out Chick, it's fun and has a neat twist on the Lois/Clark dynamic.

I had no idea that Metamorpho could assume the chemical properties of elements found outside the periodic table. That's pretty wild.

It happened in JL TAS so it's nothing new. I was still hoping that we could skip the damn kryptonite for a change but oh well....
Overall a nice trailer, Clark and Lois sound perfect as does their dynamic and from the looks of it they've finally gotten Lex right on the big screen. Also they toned down the Krypto retoric a bit, which is a good thing since he's gotten plenty of marketing already and now they seem to focus on the more serious aspects of the film (war and Superman's role in it). This movie seems fun and bombastic but also has serious undertones and I just hope James Gunn manages to balance the two, wish him all the luck in the world.
