The Daily Planet Vol. 2: Superman News and Speculation Thread (🚨TAG SPOILERS🚨)

It’s a bit of a bummer that my friends and other people around me don’t share nearly the same enthusiasm for the movie…

Some of them probably don’t even know there’s another Superman movie coming out, but we can only hope this summer is the first step in a long process of undoing the damage of the last few decades

All it takes is one good movie, as they say

Same here. But then, that's what makes me appreciate places like the SuperheroHype forums more.

I can talk to my Mom, friends and maybe some other family members about my excitement for this movie, but it's usually met with "...Eh."

same. i am a huge Batman fan, but i am so hyped for this.
i think maybe the last time i felt like this was when the raimi spiderman movies were coming out.

also i was talking to one of my friends about this since she's a huge MCU fan so i like to talk bout any upcoming superhero movies with her.
and she was like "meh....i can't get excited for a Superman movie."

so i told her to stop talking to me then!

its only me and my older brother in my circle who i know are excited about this film. we been reading comics since we were kids.

I wonder if the theatre listings are not all up.

My local NCG has Superman up as an Amazon Early Screening but it's not listed on Fandango.

Really annoying how they said 12 EST, they drop them hours ago and now Lincoln square in the city is all booked up

Got my early screening ticket for 7pm Tuesday June 8th IMAX…… I see it before the reviews come. Hopefully before the movie is released overseas.

My local NCG has Superman up as an Amazon Early Screening but it's not listed on Fandango.

You have to go through Amazon to get the tickets. It’s easy. A good amount of tickets were sold as well at my theater so far. I still got the seat I wanted.

I did that. For some reason it's not even showing the theatre as an option, even though NCG has it listed on their site that they are participating in the the Amazon Early Screening

I will assume they lied about the ticket release time to trick scalpers/re-sellers or something? Because this sucks for people who work normal jobs and planned their day around the initially planned drop

Yeah they said 9am pacific. I got my tickets at 5am Eastern after I saw Flickchick’s post.
