Interesting. Maybe Warner Bros. will be there promoting other films but no one will be there from Man of Steel (which surprises me) or DKR. Nolan & Co. have never really had a presence at Conventions. Who knows though.

Batman has never needed to Comic-Con boost but this Superman reboot is going to need all of the extra attention it can get, can't believe they won't be debuting the suit, etc for Supes there...

In all these news stories and extras casting calls I've seen a number of references to stadiums and sports fans. What would Gotham's mascot be? If I remember the small references in the Gotham Times durruing the virals I believe they were called the Knights. Do you think that will be maintained in the film or would it be too on the nose?

Interesting. Lends more and more to the rumor that the teaser is with Harry Potter. Comic-con is after the release of Potter, which would make a TDKR appearance at comic-con redundant (if indeed the teaser is attached to Potter).

It seems like WB had to make a choice: release the teaser at comic-con or release it with Potter. Everybody and their mother is going to see Potter, so maybe they thought not releasing it with Potter would be too big of an opportunity to miss.

No, it wasn't The teaser was with The Simpsons movie and the photo of Joker was revealed in the virals. The only thing at the con was a Joker card that was related to the virals.
