I can't see us getting anything until the Pittsburgh filming, which I believe lasts a few weeks...

I really don't mean to go off topic and I apologise but can someone give me the link or name of that blog site with the history of Batman, from comics to movies etc?

I was on it once and can't remember the name of it! I think it's a Blogspot one...

Teaser description revealed?:

From SpyderFan007:

I currently work of a VFX company that does work on titles/graphics and saw a rough version of what appears to be a teaser for TDKR. It's going under the name "Magnus Rex" and will be attached to the new Harry Potter when it comes out. We're working on the end part. Here's a brief description...

Cue WB Logo: Fade Out

Cue Legendary Pictures Logo: Fade Out

Drum beats cue each cut...

Sweeping shot of a Blue City

BRUCE WAYNE VO: Intellect.

Yellow/red Flames rise...

BRUCE WAYNE VO: Unwavering dedication.

Sweeping shot of Gotham...

BRUCE WAYNE VO: Brute Strength.

Interior of the new batcave coming to life with blinding light...

Yellow/red flames continue to rise...

BRUCE WANYE VO: Everything a man could be and more...

New Batsuit illuminated in a case...

BRUCE WANYE VO: Isn't enough...

Yellow/red flames consume everything

BRUCE WAYNE VO: Isn't Enough when faced against the flames of vengeance.

Silver red hot bat logo shoots through the red/yellow flames. The logo rises and cools off above the flames. Steam comes off the logo and as if it is forged anew from the crucible of fire.

BRUCE WAYNE: But there's always hope...

SUMMER 2012

Whoa. Interesting. I like the description of the logo!

Interior of the new batcave coming to life with blinding light...
NOOOOOOOOO!:argh:

As for everything else, it sounds cool if it's true. I'm glad to hear it's a reddish color.

This is a true source ?

And if it is true, I guess the "flames of vengeance" line is about Ras? What else would Bane need vengeance for in the Nolan series?

The lines are a bit too cheesy though.

if true, that could look rather cool.... but i'm not gonna buy it until we get a more secure source (No offence to SpyderFan007)

SUMMER 2012
This is what someone posted in the teaser thread. word for word.
Going off of the two teasers we have (Begins and TDK), I'm guessing it'll consist of voiceover by Christian Bale. The context and what we'll see, unknown...

I'll take a stab at it just for fun:

Cue WB Logo: Fade Out

Cue Legendary Pictures Logo: Fade Out

Drum beats cue each cut...

Sweeping shot of the "Blue City"

BRUCE WAYNE VO: Intellect.

Yellow/red Flames rise...

SUMMER 2012

you need to provide a link, even if u got it from imdb or whatever

the description is fake. considering it was written by someone (Russell Nash) "taking a stab at it" in the teaser prediction thread thread. look at my post above.

It sounded fake since fanfictjon always has the same vibe. haha

Come on WB! Give us a damn countdown. We had rorys melting pumpin head the last time around, how about giving us Magnus Rex's burning vest or something.

So HP comes out in just over a month, so we could start seeing actual descriptions of the teaser in 3 weeks or so.

Was just about to post that. Does this mean we're seeing the end of studios catering to fanboys/girls and just tailoring these films to the general audience? Or will studios do this only for the biggest releases?

That's the thing: Studios shouldn't cater so much to the fans we know of the product already and we are a much smaller group than the general public.

Look at this way - plenty of films, like Kick Ass for example, were rapturously received at Comic Con but did fairly mediocre box office. A presence at SDCC just doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things (sorry to say it, but it is true - we are but a drop in the ocean here) and I imagine studios are probably saving money here as well.
