I don't know why people are using the same mentality for Catwoman like what they did for Two-Face. TF was more of a kept secret in terms of look. Yeah, we pretty much knew he would appear, but it was teased more in interviews, but nothing really came of it until a few months before release.

Catwoman is very recognizeable. They'll waste no time hyping her up. Even if it's a tease of her. That will get people interested. Especially with someone like Hathaway in the role.

Oh for sure, she's one of the few batman secondary characters (even comic characters), other than the joker to be a legit pop culture icon. Everyone knows Catwoman, WB have men and boys by the balls marketing a sexy latex catwoman, think of haloween this year lads! And what girl wouldn't go crazy for a badass anti-heroine.

I'd be suprised if she wasn't on pretty much every poster for this film, let alone be a part of the marketing.

I think the reason some think she's going to be put under wraps is simply because Bane was revealed first. The thing those with the Two-Face train of thought don't realize is from a marketing perspective the Joker was always going to be the focus. Two-Face, whilst a famous character, isn't in the same league as Joker or Catwoman, both are pop cultural icons, therefore you can afford to keep him as a surprise. The other thing is you don't cast Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and not show her to the public.

want to say how much I hate @slashfilm. He slept for 10 of the 11 hrs back from London. So envious.

but I used the flight to write up something that I'll post down the road. So at least I used the time wisely.

Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Inception all had set visits. The press got invited to watch The Dark Knight prologue being filmed. SHH has a great write up in their archives.

Yeah that makes sense, it's probably not TDKR. BOF got invited to TDK set too.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Catwoman is the third most recognizable character in the mythos behind Batman and Joker. The character is a legitimate draw. She will be prominently featured in the marketing. She's more Joker than Two-Face in terms of the marketing.

No, we had official pics before December. Hell, we even had pretty clear spy pics of Joker from people here at the Hype around July.

I kinda wonder with the Licenses Expo coming up Tuesday, if they will start up a new viral on Friday? Like last time? And maybe we will get some "on the set" shots if we solve it soon enough, or the logo. I know we figure we will get something next Tuesday but I wonder if we will get something this Friday to kick it off.

The press had a TDK set visit back when they were shooting the scene of Batman and Gordon in the bank. I remember there was a story about the guys cracking up because Gary can't catch the money whenever it is Bale that throws it.

I think so. I believe the Scotland filming will happen before Nottingham but I have no idea when exactly they're going to Scotland.
