The voice tease plus the picture gave us a pretty decent idea of what we were in for with Heath's Joker.

I dunno, they need to be selling the fact that Catwoman is in this movie. Not that many people really know who Bane is, and Catwoman is one of the most popular Batman characters.

The teaser should be about Bane. I'm sure they will do a good job of making him interesting. I think Selina/Catwoman will be like Dent/Two-Face. We might get a quick shot of Catwoman in the last trailer.

I agree. I think the teaser trailer will be focused on Bane, and then the full trailer in December will give us our first look at Catwoman. Then they'll put a lot of focus on Catwoman in 2012 leading up to the release.

I think it may center around Bane, yes the character does not have as much selling points as Catwoman....but I kinda think they may center it around the event Bane is known for. Not necessarily a back break but just showing Batman being beat to hell, and his true identity revealed could be an event that could perk the interest of the GA.

Yeah. they need to sell Bane as the "main" baddie before they can get to Catwoman. Let's just hope she doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

honestly, i hope the teaser doesn't build up to the line "i will break you batman", while i'm sure that will wet the pants of fanboys, i don't think it would excite the general audience because most people wouldn't associate it with anything more than a weak line. "Why so serious?" doesn't have the resonates without knowledge that it is The Joker saying it, likewise, I will break you doesn't have the resonance unless you know Bane broke his back in the comics.

I actually hope the teaser consists of some revealing dialogue between Batman and Gordon... about his very serious situation and how things are only going to get worse.

I think if they just replace Joker with Bane in EVERY aspect of marketing... its going to come off as a little lazy.

I agree they should focus on Bane first. Catwoman will get the attention later, and alot of it. I think they're going to tease her with this first trailer. Just a flash of her perhaps.

I would love to see flashes of images with someone describing Bane and what he did. Maybe Gordon describing it. Kind of like the first Thor trailer where Coulson is talking about how Thor owned all of those guys. I would love to see a shot of Bane throw a bunch of men off of him in a wide shot.

I bet everything, the teaser will have footage. Similar to Batman Begins' teaser and Inception's teaser. With the Joker, audio will work fin, not with a villain pretty much the whole general audience has never heard about. There will be footage.

I'm thinking they'll do something similar to that. I'm not sure an audio teaser would work with TDKR, but I'm open to being proven wrong of course.
